I've been a big Douglas critic at earlier on. But I have to admit that I am warming up to the dude. He's been playing well and is not forcing the issues like he did at the beginning.
LOL. You know, I think the Rockets had to throw the game today to dampen some of this "hottest team in the NBA" nonsense. Much better to fly under the radar.
Lin (before the Lakers game): "I think the best teams are the ones that really play for each other; sacrifice for each other. I was always a big believer in the closer you are off the court the better you are on the court. I think that's where we're getting to as we spend more time together, travel together, go on road trips, things like that. So everyone's personalities are coming out and we're starting to get along. Not that we ever weren't, but more so than before." http://www.7msport.com/video/20130109/3271.shtml
We score alot of points, but we also give up alot of points. As good as our offense is, our defense is equally as bad.
Right now the Rockets' defensive efficiency is standing just around the average of the league, with nine Eastern Conference teams (including Heat and Knicks) and seven WC teams below it. You may say our defense is average, but surely not bad.
Fair enough. Admittedly I based my comment strictly on points allowed and not efficiency. That said, I worry about how these guys will perform in the playoffs because of the style of play which wins series'. Granted we aren't going to be a favorite in any series anyway.
