Another suggestion - you can hook your tivo into a wireless router via a network adapter. You can get instructions on how to do this via the tivo website. I think you need to have a second generation tivo to do this, however.
Done. Price dropped from 20.00 per month down to 15.00 per month - no complaints so far (i've had it a month). Thanks for the heads-up.
there is a reason why it's 14.95 a month. Because Yahoo/SBC dsl sucks. Been there done that... please try to avoid
Yep, I just realized that I could do this today. Thanks for the heads up. One more thing, someone was asking about alarm systems not working with digital phone service. A buddy of mine got VoIp through Time Warner and said his alarm hasn't worked since then. Apparently Time Warner is now providing home security systems though so he's about to switch to them for that as well.
Been using the 3 Mbit/sec service for 7 months. No problems. First rule of thumb in broadband : anybody can have problems with any service and anybody can have great service. It's rare that an entire company's connectivity is always bad across the board. If it was that bad, then I doubt they'd stay in business. Well... except for Microsoft (there, I threw some of you a bone there...)
