I'll give you that, but his 1.8 PER advantage doesn't make up for his heartlessness and his knack for shutting down when times get tough.

I'm not afraid to admit that I think TMac was a better package than Kevin Martin.

But post-McGrady-mental-meltdown I'd rather have Martin regardless.

Prime T-Mac will always be better than anything Martin can hope to achieve. Unfortunately, prime T-Mac has never achieved anything worth noting a decade from now. With the exception of TOF's, I highly doubt T-Mac's legacy will be one to be remembered.

We need to give Kevin Martin some time to create his own legacy as a Rocket.
Then after that we can compare their legacies wearing a Rockets uniform.

Please show me some hard facts that KM was/is better than Tracy, for you that say Kobe was better than Tracy, again I would like to see some hard facts. Championships doesn't count and scoring titles don't count, only hard numbers and stats.

    Fixed.....

The point is...he was right up there and there was no clear argument. Now obviously KM is clearly better fit, but you all need to stop hating on McGrady...he was elite at the time and everyone knew it. Give credit where it was due.

When the Mcgrady nut huggers disappear, we'll stop hating on Mcgrady. I will give Mcgrady credit in the fact that Tracy could manage to put up big numbers when allowed to shoot 25-30 shots a game and was allowed to jack up shots whenever he felt like it, but never could manage ANY playoff success. The playoffs is were basketball legends are made, not regular season scoring titles, not by saying "it's on me" and not even(as much you guys would like it to be) scoring 13 in 35 or 22 game win streaks. Btw it takes a team to go on a 22 game win streak, Yao was there for 10 and this coming from Tracy's homers that say Tracy never had a good enough supporting cast. Talk about talking out of both sides of your mouths.

Wait, you're saying we had a team in 08? And that team was so good that T-Mac shooting 50% and getting 40 points still lost by 20?

That being said Kobe would never play for the Rockets.
    not enough showtime for him.
