In all fairness to Clyde, he meant "easily top 5" when you exclude Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, Gilbert Arenas, Allen Iverson, Tony Parker, Jason Terry, Baron Davis, Sam Cassell, Devin Harris, Chucky Atkins, Stephon Marbury, Mike Bibby, Mike James, Deron Williams, Kirk Hinrich, Jamaal Tinsley, Luke Ridnour, Chris Duhon, Shaun Livingston, Mo Williams, Leandro Barbosa, Delonte West, T.J. Ford, Ray Felton, Andre Miller, Derek Fisher, Jarrett Jack, Jack Sikma, Jack Bauer, Jack B. Nimble, Jack Daniels and Jack ****. Atleast I understood it that way.
I don't think you can say that we're damned with him... We have a tremendous record right now, 30-17, and still maintaining a winning pace without Yao. To say that we're damned because of his presence is a little much. He helps this team win, flat out, regardless of his shooting percentages. I would rather have him than a point guard who averages 3 or 4 more points a game on better shooting, which is what some of you seem to want. He's much more valuable to this team than that.
Hilarious. But, if I remember right, Clyde said Rafer was top 5 in reference to running the fastbreak. I see where he's coming from; he certainly didn't mean top 5 PG overall.... or maybe he's dumber than I thought.
I think what Clyde was refering to was.. that easily a top5 PG from whom Clyde has played with .. (Matt Maloney, Bryce Drew.. etc.. )
The guys that do NOT fit our team so well are Wells and Vspan. how do you know they do not fit? Why they do not fit? Coach's issue? or players' issue? or both. Both of them think they are much better than they actually are and try to do more than they are capable of doing. Bozi is a proved veteran, did Span get decent minutes to demonstrate what he can do?
I believe that Rafers assists go down with Yao because the big fella puts the ball on the floor most of the time. VSPAN should be the key to dinner, because he 's WELL DONE. A couple of months until the Boki is better than VSpan and thats F&&king SAD. PS RAFer is a little too much "be the hero"(STREETBALL MENTALITY?) sometimes but overall he is a better than MATT MALONEY(who by the way is better than Vspan).
V-Span will get better if he believes he needs to get better. I think that sums it up. If you think V-Span is already good enough to improve a 31-17 team by playing more, I think that's a reach.
