I guess she could go into modeling, but not all women want to be at the center of attention with every thing they do plastered over the net. Maybe you're right and she should make the best of the 15 minute wave.

I can't see that much difference between William Hung and that Star Wars kid except that one chose the attention and the other did not.

It does suck for the father.

 

This post needs to be stickied and/or emailed to anyone who comes across with the why wouldn't anyone want to be gawked at? "argument." Women are different from men, and every individual is different. If someone says she is uncomfortable at being gawked at online by 12 or 12,000 people, there is a small chance that a small part of her may like the attention. That doesn't come close to mitigating or doing away with the overriding feeling that she cannot stand. And you cannot point to that fraction of a percentage that suggests someone would somehow enjoy this in spite of pleas to the contrary. And age, to me, is immaterial in this matter.

But, as I said before, the WaPo scribe chose the WithLeather guy out of a cast of hundreds. That kid was being bandied about on dozens of blogs (big and small) for weeks leading up to someone sending Matt an email. The WaPo article makes Matt look like some skeevy, underaged queenmaker. That isn't the case.

Shes obviously pretty and it is a great picture, but something just doesnt seem right about the pseudostalking of a child "THe picture is over a year old".



This is more in the vein of Celebrity news, not She's not Lindsay Lohan,Paris Hilton, or Tila Tequila, shes a high school track athlete who has suddenly been thrust into fames bright light.

Its sad that americas celebrity driven culture is so thirsty for anything and everything that the new trend is to just pick some random person out of society and put all of there business out there for the world to see.

I think why some people don't think she's as hot here as the rest of the country is because her looks almost max out what people on the coasts consider hot (primarily, NY and CA areas). For the most part, Texans like their girls thicker and not as olive skinned. Stokke is more post-2000 hollywood hot.

I demand more pictures of girls to prove my point.
