I think Moochie just might be on his way out the door from all I have seen about Tito he just may be our next backup to Steve...He looks to pass and not be a shooter but he can shoot with Yao, Boki,Cat and Eddie in there a good passer that can run will be what we need in a backup...........

While i think Mooch is extremely overpaid, i also think he is not going anywhere. The Rockets are looking to add a 2 guard (to back up Cuttino), not a point guard.
But if Mooch were to be traded, maybe along with MoT or KT to Seattle for 'Shard, I would not be all that surprised or saddened. With the amount of minutes steve plays, and Cat's ability to play the 1, Moochie is doing a job any CBAer could do, only he's getting big bucks for it. Don't anybody say that he is there as insurance for Steve's inner ear, w/out steve, we lose. Last season proved that. Besides, he hasn't even been fro-ing his hair out lately...

How about Mooch and a box of bobble heads to the Clips for Lamar Odom and a bong to be named later? :D

The times I saw the Mooch's fro seemed so long ago
When he was in the game the offense moved so dang slow
You dribbled a lot and you ran down the clock
And you also wore some pretty high socks
It's such a pity to say

    Goodbye to Mooch!
    Goodbye to Moooooooooooooch!
    Goodbye to Mooch!

Hoopsworld says the Rockets are frustrated with Moochie? Then it looks like Moochie is their favorite player. Look for Moochie to get more minutes this season.

I've been as hard as anybody regarding the Little Dribbler. However, the Rockets would be making a mistake to trade him at this point. He's got outstanding qualities, one of which is that he has the ability to hit the clutch shot and he can get the ball to the open man (his assist ratio is quite good). My criticism has always been made in the hope he will move the ball up the floor by passing rather than dribbling, looking, dribbling, looking, dribbling, oh, no, shooooooot!

Mooch is not going any where, unless we get a decent player in return for him. He's probably one of the best back-up guards in the league ( save Bobby Jackson and Nick the Quick ).

I think it would be kind of hard to give up a guy who can actually hit game winning jumpers. Not many players in the NBA can do that.

Moochie needs to stay. With tall guys like Ming, Griffin and Taylor, Moochie will be passing more often, and then people will say what an improved player he is becuase he is doing less dribbling.

I don't know if any one here noticed this but, last season when Moochie shot the ball right after he received a pass, he never missed. Keep that in mind.

The Mooch will be a lot better this year with all the big guys he has around him.

With Moochie starting the second year of a six year deal I don't think the rox are looking to trade him . . . unless the right offer comes along though . . . BTW, I've run into the mooch at Red Lobster and Best Buy out buy Hwy 6. He's cool. Funny story - the best buy girl was "watching him closly" untill we told her he played for the Rockets, then she went and asked for an autograph.

Moochie isn't going anywhere. 1) Hoopsworld sucks and is nearly always wrong. 2) Since when were we 3 deep and looking for another PG? Maddux is a little too out of control right now to be pushed into the backup spot so we need Mooch AND we don't have a freakin SG so why in the hell would be looking to add another PG? 3) I know u don't like it Stevie Francis but Another Brother is right, we gotta push those bobble heads w/ the life-like hair.;)

I guess this must be jump on Moochie week. Moochie is good enough to be a starter on many teams. He does need to get rid of the ball quicker, but overall he is a very good backup and we are lucky to have him.

    :D :D :D :D :D

Moochies is overpaid, and gives me a headached the way he plays. If it wasn't for his hair, how many fans would he have?

He did make some nice clutch shots by the way, but is he really worth it?

well well, i wouldn't mind gettin rid of moochie.

    1. cause he dribbles too much

    2. cause he dribbles too much

    3. cause he dribbles too much

but i'm pretty sure he's not going to be traded

cause the fans love him. he's even got his face on a billboard.

and cause he's a decent backup. and that's all we need.
