If Obama did do that then immediate action should be taken. But there is no way to really know what's going on until McCain forms a commission that will investigate it, and then it will be discussed. That's the only way to really know, right? So just like with the rest of the crisis, I think we need to wait until McCain gets his commission formed to really get to the bottom of this.
i've read the thread and i see zero DEBUNKING of anything. lots of sound and fury, but nothing of significance.
Welcome back. It's clear from the liberal "no-content" pile-on techniques being employed that you have struck a nerve with them with your barrage of truth and facts. They have no answer, so they resort to insults. That proves that you have outmatched them.
IMO, there are 3 or 4 strong lib members that back up their views with strong evidence which can be intimidating with the amount of time to rebut one member, let alone two or more. Right now, the Conservative brand is dog food, and the current facts are not as compelling even if their gut feeling is just as strong. Too much theory and not much practice. I think Basso's posting style is trashy but other people might like the ultra witty titles and quantity of threads. That said, I wouldn't want him banned or silenced. Not for the sake of discussion because it's uncommon in a basso thread, but just for some predominant Conservative viewpoints across the nation that isn't outright TJ/NYCRich absurd and actually does not get covered as much in this forum.

pretty hard to post around here when everyone just attacks whatever you say anyway. It's either the Liberals way, or no way on here. why even bother?
If you can make your points and defend them with evidence you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If you can't, you should reconsider.
That's because you don't really have a good argument. It's the same reason why the McCain campaign focuses on sideshow issues instead of real ones.
People, especially on sports forums, don't like to admit when they're wrong and will definitely outwardly relish when they're right. If you're trying to win someone else over, who also has an emotional vested interest, then you're likely going to be left disappointed.
" join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190" i'm pretty sure the reform act of 2005 is from 2005. if what you're saying that the speech he gave was from 2006, not 2005, then that's a distinction w/o a difference, and the relevant fact is the legislation in question, which mccain co-sponsored, from 2005. your point again?
it's a technique drawn from the official Obama playbook, described on DailyKos, and executed during the caucuses. dems are conviced they lost in 2000 and 2004 because they didn't "fight" aggressively enough against republican "attacks", so now the shout their opponents down, never call retreat (unless in iraq), and hope that no one notices that the emperor on the styrofoam stage isn't wearing any clothes. welcome to the new digital brownshirt age, where no dissent is tolerated, and the government will monitor your life to make sue eveyone buys a copy of the latest barbara streisand cd.
Welcome back. The entire premise of your thread has been shown to be a sham. It takes neither guts nor foresight to talk about something after it happened. The Obama stuff has been addressed in the original thread.
My point is that I am having a lot of fun smacking you around on this because you are too lazy to click the links I have already provided, or even read your own stupid speech in which he announces his cosponsorship. In 2006. COSPONSORS(3), ALPHABETICAL [followed by Cosponsors withdrawn]: (Sort: by date) Sen Dole, Elizabeth [NC] - 1/26/2005 Sen McCain, John [AZ] - 5/25/2006 Sen Sununu, John E. delusion dude starts a thread fresh off banishment, on a topic discussed in detail just the day before. Most of his criticism was bunked yesterday, when this is pointed out (as people have complained about him repeating threads with his own in the past) its other people's faults. unfreakinbelievable
Ugh. Dissent is not at play here. Quit trying to wrap yourself in the flag of true free speech advocates. You can say what you want, but you cannot expect what you say to automatically be universally accepted and free from criticism. Criticism, including the corrections of facts and the inclusion of information contradictory to your position, is not the equivalent of stifling dissent.
^ The greatest part about this whole bill sham is that the bill didn't get out of committee in a Republican-controlled congress.
and mccain is one of the most anti regulation reagan republicans among them. it would be hilarious if it weren't true
