Actually for the most part he has lead by example. I can think of three specific times when he has not. But his campaign is very different from others we have seen.
the worst part about mccain's statement (if he meant not being in a state of war) is that it assumes this thing will be over anytime in the near future. you can't talk about a post war situation when you don't have a solution for the state of war. I really can't believe republicans actually try to argue that obama's twisting this. it would be comical if it weren't true.
