    They were buying milk, jackass.

If they're running down the street with sabres, yes, by all means put down your Iron Maiden albums and join the fight.

But they were buying milk. They were buying milk, and reggietodd thought it was because THEY WERE IN ON A TERRORIST ATTACK.

Yes, I'm sure you would have no problem with that type of stereotyping and abuse, hypothetically. None at all.

"Putting yourself in other people's shoes" requires more than just lip service. It requires actual thought.

Lets be clear. I am unwilling, not unable, and quite frankly, I am getting quite the kick out of seeing you squirm and resort to questioning my integrity because I am unwilling.

In fact, I am getting such a kick out of it, I have found the article I read (via Google search based on the familiar names cited in the article Mr. Brightside), but will not reveal the link until we play a game of 20 questions.

    You start.

    :)

Wow. You're grasping for straws here now. Did you read my original post?
    1. I said they were polite.
    2. I mentioned ramadan as an explanation
    3. It was a pharmacy and they bought ALL the milk in there (9 of them, 9 shopping carts, can you imagine the line I had to wait in? Thankfully they let me go ahead of them. The employees in the store seemed to think it was strange too, so it wasn't just me.)
    4. I said terrorism crossed my mind......

Now you are saying that I said they were IN ON A TERRORIST ATTACK? You sure are defensive.

I'm afraid not. Apparently, it is a combination of paranoia and mob mentality masquerading as "Homeland Security vigilance".

The article, you mean? Too long....couldn't read.

On CNN, MSNBC, or FoxNews, a day or so ago? Look, I'll even concede if you saw it on a the National Enquirer.

If it's not news, then it's irrelevant.

Are you implying that all white people listen to Iron Maiden? Talk about racial profiling. You're a true hypocrit.

No, only the conservative white teenagers listen to Iron Maiden. Once they go to college and become "introspective" and "individualistic", they ALL have to listen to things like MIA and Modest Mouse.

Yes, Reggie. That is exactly what I am implying. Because, as you stated so passionately (and I wholehearted agree with you), ONLY black people have the name "Reggie". Case closed (this is a popular saying lately)!

Wait, we were talking about stereotyping, right? Sorry, disregard everything I just said.

posted earlier by me "Well, if it wasn't on a major site, then it must not have been written right? (pretty sure though it was CNN, FOX, or MSNBC (since that, and chron.com is where I do most of my news reading), but it most certainly could have been a much lesser known news site)

No, Aceshigh has talked at length about his love for the band on this board. I can read, and write quite well sometimes, so I put the two together.

You're just some kid who can't spell 'hypocrite' and talks about "not eating good."

    Once again ...

Which says that you thought that all people who dress like and have the same skin color as a the billions of people who live from the NW tip of Africa to the eastern end of India are in concert in plotting a terrorist attack. And you thought that they were in cahoots enough to warn each other and buy gross quantities of milk to prepare for the fallout of said attack.
