This is nothing new. Anybody remember the cringe worthy moments of watching DH, Capela, and Co CONSTANTLY switching out to guard Paul and Curry during the playoffs last summer? It's laughable. I remember during the JVG days I absolutely hated the way Yao would hedge out on the perimeter during pick and rolls. I never understood why you would want to take your 7 foot 6 big man out so far away from the basket. But I was child then, and now as a man I have put away childish things. Now I see the light and would kill for those days. That was an EXTREMELY effective way of utilizing your big men out on the perimeter by pushing the ball handler back further away from the basket and disrupting the offense's flow and rhythm. This Rockets team is FAR more athletic then JVG's Rockets. The misuse of DH and even Clint Capela is pathetic. Bickerstaff is one of this team's biggest problems. Not the only one, but he's among them. The McHale area still hasn't officially ended. It's time to thank this coaching staff for their service and usher them out the La Branch/Polk St. exit. The offseason can't come soon enough.
