Unless I did the calculations incorrectly, even if they cut everyone but CP3, DJ, and Blake Griffin they can only offer Durant $25.47 million because of the cap holds for the rest of the roster at rookie minimums. I also don't see how they could a sign and trade at the moment because they cannot trade away enough money to meet the trade exception.

Theoretically, maybe they could sign some players OKC wants in order to do a basic swap sign and trade to make up the salaries difference. More than likely though Durant would have to take a discount to go to the Clippers.
