A promising young-ish true center that's better than anyone on the Rockets at rebounding? Of course I am willing to give up Bev for Vucevic. In case you forgot, we need help at the C position.

 

Doubt it's true....but if it were, you would HAVE TO DO IT!

First, if you are only giving up Ariza, Bev and 1 2nd rounder (works in the trade machine), then you still have KJ, Ennis, another second, a future 1st and overseas stashes to make even another trade! KJ and Ennis get you another 6 or 7 million dollar player. Add in Harrell and you have about 8 million to bring in another big maybe...or through buyout.

Butler without a doubt is better than Ariza, and while I would hate to lose Bev, we would still be stacked at the guard positions and can easily bring in a 4th guard to man that 4th rotation spot if needed.

I'm sure Morey knows all of this too, therefore I think this is not a real source but more like an A1 SAUCE.

 

I highly doubt that this rumor is true. If this was on the table I think Morey would do it in a heartbeat. Remember after the deadline there will be the buyouts that happen and we could fill out the roster with someone being bought out, and getting them on a cheap deal.

 

I consider Bev is a key piece in our future success. No, I wouldn't even trade him for Butler. Call me crazy.

 

Hey thats a very fair point, cause honestly if we make it to the WCF who would you want guarding Curry? I think you have better shot at slowing down Curry with Bev, than someone trying to guard Durant.

WTF isn't Morey going after a big guy? If Cleveland wants Bev they should give us Tristan Thompson. Otherwise, hang up the phone on those douches.

 

And b/c Butler couldn't play with Rose, I am also doubting he could play with the Beard. We need Bev not only for this season, but many more to come. We need a big more than another star pg to replace our glue.
