Great opening. Say what you want about the state of SNL today but their political parodies are still top knotch. Whoever was doing Zell Miller was classic with the face turning red. Was that Seth Myer?

Man, LL really does look like hell. I'm not just saying that to pile on either. She's not even do-able anymore and I'm a horny b*stard.

It seems any acting skill that she once had was lost with her weight and chest. Maybe it's just her trying to do a country accent though...

Was that Woomba commercial a rerun or was it a different one? I know I've seen a Woomba bit before and it doesn't seem like the kind skit they could keep doing. It was kind of funny though.

And I also really like Amy Poehler doing Weekend Update.

A pretty lame showing for a season ender.

I think they need a complete overhaul. There weren't many bright spots this season.
Merv The Perv comes to mind, but that's about it.

Amy Poheler is alright... but she seems to be getting overexposed, as she's in almost every single sketch, including weekend update.

They definitely slacked off on their political sketches this year... whether it was because they didn't have a decent "w" impersonator, or just because they know the country is at its most sensitive during times of war.

I think Finesse, Poheler, Armison, Fey, and Meyers are going to be the only constants on this show. The rest of them (including any Darrel Hammond being any character that is not Chris Matthews or Donald Trump) are really hit or miss.

Me too... but according to my girlfriend, the actual show (america's next top model) is EXACTLY like that, if not more zany.

Apparently Maya had Tyra Banks down perfectly.

I thought the end of the Star Wars nerds sketch was a hilariously subversive twist. It reminded me of the Heather Locklear sketch where the telecommercial lady turns into a massive racist - you didn't see it coming.

Unfortunately, Weekend Update's attempt to do racial humor was just lame. Is it just me or does it seem like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler tend to "console" one another when one of their jokes bomb?

I thought it was a decent episode, but no sketch compared to last year's LL/Hermione one.

Weekend Update has sucked horribly since Amy Poehler started doing it. The 2 of them have no chemistry and are more funny seperately than together.

Her and Tina Fey do nothing for me. When WU comes on I find something else to do. They need to find someone that looks like a news anchor. These 2 are clowns.

Chris Parnell would do a better job.
