did you guys take it yesterday morning id id , what did you guys think? on the reading passages it was about..the history of the word "cool" in slang...the relationship between science and cooking...the dude named washington woodward that brought back memories to this person..and i think some memoir about his times in congo and america
in 7th grade, 610 math, 480 verbal for a 1090. PSAT, 800 math, 710 verbal for a 1510. SAT, 780 math, 790 verbal (!) for a 1570. i remember when i got my 710 in verbal on the PSAT i was actually stunned and a little disappointed because i thought i had used up the best score i would ever get on verbal. when i took the SAT, i realized on about my third time reading the math portion over that i read one of the questions wrong and right then they called time so i couldn't change it (it was 15 instead of 5) so i knew i wouldn't get the 800 i figured i'd get. but when i got the 790 on verbal i was floored. my verbal score beating my math score has to be one of the biggest surprises i've ever had, both because i figured i wouldn't miss a math question and just because my verbal never seemed like it would be that good. as far as studying, i'm sure i went through a few practice tests but nothing very big.
apparently you've never heard him speak on his groundbreaking economic and foreign policies. the turnovers are just a ploy to not make everyone else feel so far below him intellectually. and on the topic of silly nicknames, well you know what they say about stones and glass houses
Practice a lot. Get "10 Real SAT's" book and take all the practice tests. Get another book if you want and do practice tests as well. After much practice, I ended up getting a 1450 on the SAT. Also, I heard from all my friends that TestMasters is really helpful.
