He made 2 game saving steals in the conference finals and was deadly from the 3 pt line.

His overall game is what got him a decent contract. I think he will be well worth it.

He's also a pretty pesky defender and another ball-handler Phil can throw out there.

But being cut from the Slovenian national team ... LOL!!

I really hope I'm wrong but I just don't see it. I've been going round and round with people in GARM about it. I think the guy is a decent player and worth the money to a team in the right situation. The Rockets are not in that situation. Not to mention, I think even some of the more reasonable posters think he is going to make some leap and become a legit 2nd or 3rd option in offense. That won't ever happen.

I don't see this kid being anything more than Battier with a few more points per game but with less effective man to man defense and much less effective as a team defender. The Rockets now have about $13 million locked up in two guys who are basically the same player. Meanwhile, the team let it's only slasher/finisher walk and has not done anything significant to fill the gaping hole at Center.

I still can't believe this guy managed to put down the lockdown on Wafer. No wonder Wafer didn't get an NBA contract.

    he's hurt.
    other than that,
You want punk on your team not on opposing when your punk is able to do something else besides being punk. He has to regain that something else.
