A season sweep of the two best teams in the East?

Ladies and gentlemen, it seems we have our 2009 NBA Finals Champions.

    A_3PO,

What do you think about my suggestion earlier in this thread that the Lakers go after Raja Bell? Do you think that works given that after the Bynum injury everybody in the frontcourt has essentially slid down a spot? Bell could function sort of like Battier. I think it's a perfect fit for the triangle --- much better than Radman (past) or Walton (present). What do you think?

That might work. He could be a defensive specialist and take some SF/SG minutes. He would add much-needed intensity and grit.

Been saying this for awhile and people say i'm sack riding. The rox cant or dont have anyone big enough or quick enough to contain Odom. Thats why i like a Tim thomas type to combat that. People dont understand that Odom is really a 3 in a 3/4 body. He was a pg, before he hit a 6 inch growth spurt. Its going to be very, very tough to be la.

spurs beat the lakers and were winning the whole game played in sa

and we were on pace with the lakers over there and they just hit some shots in the 3rd quarter

magic got us in a back to back with the hornets

and the second game the worst officiating of the year and the magic just hit some shots against the spurs

    GO SPURS GO

    Mason is clutch!

translation, Lakers played better and beat the Spurs.

the Spurs, one of the best defensive team in the league, couldn't stop the Lakers charge---led by the mob bench---in Q3.

Yeah I agree. Just because a guy has a habit of kicking players doesn't mean he's not dirty.

Its not that difficult to stop odom, he has no jumpshot yep people play him so tight, its stupid, he's another one of those talented players who has put in the work reflected is his Ft shooting and overall aggressiveness.

Most of Odom's points today were putbacks and from dumpoff passes from Gasol, it's not like he was the focal point of the offense, just that no one on the cavs put a body on him when he was cutting to the basket or on rebounds. How the Cavs couldn't find him after the umpteenth point he scored is bewildering.

Yeah, that's what i'm saying. Not that I want the Lakers to get better but I have a gut feeling somebody good is going to snatch up Bell before the trade deadline. He's a great "win now" type of player that, hell, I wouldn't even mind having on the Rockets if Artest or Battier get dealt.

it shows that Odom was too quick and atheltic for the Cavs defenders.
