Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers brushed off his $15,000 fine for "verbal abuse of game officials," but his wife was a little more concerned.

"She said make sure that doesn't hurt me on Valentine's Day," Rivers said Sunday before Boston's game against San Antonio.

    LOL

no other backcourt in the leauge is as athletic as the backcourt duo of parker and ginboli.

ok, maybe a little over stretched.

The sad thing is that they are still more athletic than us.

It's an issue but great coaching, great team defense and a sound offensive system that works under pressure will overcome a lack of athleticism. The Spurs have all three while the Rockets have none of them. The biggest difference is the coaching.

The spurs being a great defensive team this this year is not true, just look at the stats, just like the rockets they have taken a step backwards defensively, they just know how to win close games.

Pop wouldn't let Scola play many minutes because of his lousy defense.

In fact, this is the reason why the spurs traded him.

The rockets will trade him sooner or later.

we've got a long ways to go before we can match the intensity of these guys in these types of games over a 7 game series.

we've still have 2 months so that's good. we'll get there.

    i hope u r wrong.

the only untradebles on this team imho are scola, shane and yao because of their great characters.

    characters determine your destiny.

man if only yao could make that mid-range like KG does. our offense would TOTALLY go to another level.

we need to run that with scola more down the stretch. scola or any big men of ours would get wide open every time.

damn bonner is a much offensive player than battier is. he actually did something when KG came out and wanted to score.

spurs' role players want to take big shots.

the thing with yao, is that he determines the direction of this team.

not tracy mcgrady ron artest, adelman, morey or alexander for that matter.

yao determines the course of this franchise.

if yao can not elavate the mental and spirtual part of his game, then we are in trouble.
