Completely agree. Clinty can sometimes be weak as hell defending the rim. A big giant body at the rim (Bogut, Lopez, Gasol, Gobert) is something we don't have. Those guys just stand there, arms up, and create problems. Would be nice to have that on the roster.

Wrong. Capela used to average far less than 30 . . . not because of depth. I don't need your tips, but thanks. 35-year-old Nene is not what you should be calling depth on a championship team.

actually you're wrong. so what if hes used to averaging less than 30. his minutes are up this year. and when you have depth at center he doesnt need to play +30 mins every night. hes right where he should be. You take into account nene get his minutes to contribute which he does, lineup when the rockets go small without a C, and yup the minutes are right where it should be for Capela

I couldn't careless about your agenda for Capela to average a few more minutes a game to get to "30". thats meaningless. looks like you do need some tips on how to understand rotation. youre welcome

Your words are just a waste of space . . . nothing you have said has any meaning to the point I made. You are not intelligent. I have played this game much more than you . . . I have played against NBA players. I'm also very smart and haven't played sport in years, but I'd still whoop your butt.

Nene was Not the reason Capela was playing so few minutes, and Nene does Not warrant 18 minutes a game on a championship team -- or when up against Capela for competition.

I'm not interested in your opinions. Reply somewhere else.

what does you playing against NBA players have to do with anything? LOL that gives you 0 extra credibility. morons play against nba players all the time. probably one of the funniest ways to defend yourself ive seen on here.

you obviously arent very good bc you're sitting there typing on a fan forum instead of playing somewhere meaningful and getting paid for it

yup the rockets are one of the top teams in the league with Nene being a key contributor. Now that part is 100% true. your reasoning of nene is nothing more than a wrong opinion

I'm talking representative basketball. You tend to have a very large ego where you always think you're the best . . . even when I tell you blatantly to step down.

on offense. DeAndre is way better at rim protection and rebounding.

    That's practically plagiarism . . . I just said that to you.

If you think that a young, almost All Star Capela only deserves 30 minutes and 35 year old Nene deserves 18, then that pretty much speaks for itself . . . but if not:

Your point of it being solely about competition is inaccurate. There is likely something else other than just Nene's competition happening, such as a deliberate attempt to bring him up on certain minutes or fitness issues.

    10,000 posts . . . I can see why!

Actually, it has a lot to do with everything. Experience is worth lots, hence why most coaches are ex players. Nice try though, couch potato!

That sentences put me in a class of about a few thousand people over the last two decades.

not off to a good start. you cant even understand the basic concept of depth and rotation. if you're really this basketball representative in whatever way you think you are then i really feel sorry for those kids learning to play the game the wrong way

Capela is great but he needs to go strong at times. Is not the first season I shake my head whenever he misses an easy layup or dunk. He gets the ball right where he needs to but this last games he has gone real soft and gotten blocked by smaller guys. If you notice that’s when the other team has gone on a mini run.
Dj always goes strong. Hardly anyone blocks him. Of course everyone on the nba will get block. But he constantly knows how to protect and go strong to the rim.
Plus he is fear by more people as an inside defender and blocks.
Dj also improved his free throw at the beginning of the season like the first 5 or 6 games. I don’t know about now and with the clips struggles that might have made his free throws regress.

Anyway Dj is stronger and better defender but Capela is younger and is great for on our team. He is shooting better at the line. But if Clint improve I think Dj can improve as well.
I would still like to keep Capela and see him improve and get better.

DJ is a giant. But he's not slow.

Must fans underrate the importance of rim protection in the playoffs. It is a huge key to championship play.

LOL at whoever thinks Capela is a better switcher than DJ. You don't know what you're watching.
