I'd hit it so hard she'd be singing the chorus to Immigrant Song.

She has convinced me. She's an idiot, but damn she makes a lot of money being one.

It wouldn't surprise me if she wouldn't know that Revere didn't actually say "The British are coming," but to not even know what he was doing? Embarrassing.

I am bored and I need entertainment.

People like Sarah Palin is what made become a cynic of American democracy, an ideal that I once cherished incredibly as a child.

I don't mind her as a person. I think a lot of her is an act, which she uses to publicize herself. I just mind the fact that there are a substantial number of Americans who think she's relevant enough to run for president.

I mean, at least with a totalitarian government, I can blame the system for anything and everything. But with a democracy, you can't even blame the politicians for screwing you up the ass.

    Letterman's Nailin Paylin

more to the topic: I disagree with Deckard, her looks do indeed have some to do with her popularity...she is not a stunner by any stretch, but she is a handsome enough woman...which seems to be good enough for the stuffy old repubs she appeals to.

Wait... Guys what's wrong with what she said? Paul Revere loved America! He wanted to protect our second amendment rights as Americans! She nailed it spot on!!!

Protecting our Second Amendment rights even before there was a Second Amendment . . . or a Bill of Rights . . . or a Constitution. What a forward thinking patriot.

That's how amazing he was, but the liberal media doesn't want you to know that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: please continue to place this woman upon a pedestal and pretend she is anything more than hot air (in before "lol, hot" jokes). If the Republican wants to push fast-forward on the marginalization button, they will continue to treat her as a person worthy of respect. She isn't and any junior-level civics test would show that.

I find it odd how many other countries, both first- and third-world (thinking Bhutto here) have elected female leaders without regard to their gender and more in honor and respect of their intellect and ability to lead. And the right chooses to vilify Hillary Clinton and uphold this woman? It's astonishing.

Rights are not given by the Bill of Rights or the Constitution (government does not give rights), they are given by God at birth and protected by the Bill of Rights and Constitution. So why would those be relevant?

Well, to be fair, she could have meant, not literally, but figuratively, that his actions were like a warning to the British, not that he was directly speaking to the British. But still, the "taking away our guns" part- that comes directly from the 2nd Amendment- Palin just needs to ...stop....talking.

Every candidate makes gaffes- but she is head-and-shoulders above... she is just a polarizing figure.

Nice find- so once again, Palin knows more than her critics. I await the graceful apologies that are surely forthcoming in 3, 2, 1....

Maybe you should read the backgrounds of those two women and see which has achieved success on their own and which one did by virtue of their marriage.

Maybe you ought to read those backgrounds. If anything, marrying Bill probably held Hillary back.

It's amazing how you have learned to deal with extreme cognitive dissonance.

Have you considered allowing psychologists the opportunity to do research on your techniques?
