THis is the SAME woman folks! Isn't it incredible? By comparison, Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. hasn't changed all much. theSAGE
The first movie I ever saw here in was "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in 1985. She was cute, as were Helen Hunt and Shannon Doherty. Large Movie Poster Spoiler
Ok, basically what i get from women is that their version of beauty is very different. They look more at things like nice hair, nice make-up, nicely dressed, etc. While us guys would still think the hottest chick in the world was hot if she was wearing no make up, a burlap sack and had ratty hair.
I, too, have always wondered about this - how people or companies would think that SJP is attractive. She is one of the most unattractive women I have ever seen. People or companies thinking that she is attractive ranks right up there with people who think that Keanu Reeves is a great actor. Also, I seem to remember some magazine (like a Blender) rating her as the worst looking celebrity and she (SJP) responded with some sarcastic comment to that magazine. But what was funny was that the magazine reported that Matthew Broderick was upset not that they said his wife was ugly or looked like a freaking horse but that it made his taste in women look bad, lol.
I remember her being hot in LA story. That's how I choose to remember her. I turn away when I see her now. Not really a fan of anything she's been in either so I'm not missing anything.
I did a little research and found that it was Maxim that declared SJP the unsexiest woman in the world. Here is an article about it: Parker hurt by "World's Unsexiest Woman" title BEIJING, March 21 -- Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed her disgust and sadness over being voted the World's Unsexiest Woman in a men's mag poll. Parker, who is one of the most adored actresses, was given the title by Maxim magazine. The actress, who played the sexy Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City has spoken out about the impact the Maxim magazine poll results had on her and her husband, Matthew Broderick. Parker, 43, has had a hard time dealing with the news that men do not find her as attractive as advertisers do, claiming the result of the Maxim poll was "brutal" and also affected her husband, actor Broderick. "Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men's magazine? Maybe not," News.com.au quoted her, as saying. "Am I really the unsexiest women in the world? Wow! It's so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger. "It upset him (Broderick), because it has to do with his judgment too. It's condemnation, it's insane. What can I do? "I guess you can't please all people," she added. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-03/21/content_7830660.htm Thank goodness that Maxim is acting like the Miller High Life Delivery Guy - showing some common sense!
