Mesa is a god right now... damn... and I was hoping to pawn a reliever on you. Now I've got to look elsewhere...

Mesa and Julio are both producing right now. Much like your 3 relievers were earlier in the season. Mantei will be coming back soon, so I am happy with my patch work bullpen.

Now if I can get Juan Gonzo and IRod back...

I got Cat to trade me Torii Hunter for Shane Reynolds and Jason Kendall. I desparately needed another outfielder, and Hunter is putting up big numbers. I picked up Ben Molina off the WW, who is scoring essentially the same as Kendall, and Chan Ho Park is coming off the DL. I'm sure he can replace the 10 points/game that Reynolds was giving me.

Hot Dog, I pulled out a win from the jaws of defeat. Ren had me beat by 25 pts going into Thursday's games. Reuter and Mesa came through for me to pull out a 203-202 victory:D

    How sweet it is!!!!!

Bob, you are the undisputed king of cheap, sleazy one-point victories.

What, its early in the season? To early to tell if how players will do, who cares?

Look in the sky, its a bird, its a plane, Its Overreacts to Slumping Infielders Man!

In two fell swoops, my Outfield of Perpetual Doom and Sorrow is down to the Iron Sheff, Ben Grieve and Darin Erstad.

I'm going to feel like a major dumbass if this doesn't work out.

Don't underestimate Trot Nixon. He's very underrated.

So far Alou is worse than expected so he's going to my bench... but Glaus has been awesome.

    Manny broke his index finger.

Things were going so well for him too. :(

    Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Cmon Phi, leave Alou in your lineup for another week. He's about to break out.

This will be the second time I played you and didn't have to worry about Pedro:) (Lieber is pitching today, so he won't be a problem either)

Oh man, I was interested in Sosa too. Fadeaway, do you want someone like Koch/Williams/ or Rivera for Sosa? I haven't thought of a deal, or what's fair, but I'm willing to think about whatever you want to offer up.

With Manny out for a while, I'm going to need Sosa's bat more than ever, so you'd have to include a good OF (ie: Ichiro) as part of any prospective deal.

Rivera is good, but I'm satisfied with my current closer situation (Gagne is totally awesome).

    Get well soon, Manny!!

Don't y'all hate second guessing yourselves???

I couldn't decide on a utility infielder (of all positions). Should I play Vina or Casey? Casey is due to break out, while Vina has been slipping. So I start Casey....and he gets a 0 compared to Vina's 8...and unofficially I'm losing by 7 right now. Damn. I also struggled over who to pitch, Reed or Wilson. Wilson wins and gets 23, while Reed loses and scores 2.

Down by 7 with Carlos Guillen and Jeff Cirrillo versus Shea Hilldebrand and Jason Varitek still to go. It's gonna be close.

    Second guessing sucks.

Oh, but it is nice to see Chan Ho Park return and win his first time out. It's like getting an above average pitcher for free. Sweet. I hope he keeps it up.

The key is to get rid of all excess infielders and outfielders and stock up on pitchers. That way you can't 2nd guess yourself. All your position players are already in the lineup:D

    DV,

Not Really. Shannon Stewart is injured and I've got enough of those players right now with Edgar and Griffey Jr., and Giambi isn't good enough for me to trade for. Griffey Jr. Should be at least as good as Giambi when he gets back. Alou too. I'm really looking to upgrade at OF. IF you can think of a fair deal for Ordonez I might even be willing to part with Williams or Rivera. Alou is tradeable too, but I value him more than his crappy 1.5 fpg....

    Fade,
I forgot about Gagne on your roster. Looks like you are all set.

Yeah, if Foulke returns to form, I like my team a lot.

Hopefully Damon, Bernie, Jay Gibbons and Sosa can hold down the fort until Manny comes back in 4-6 weeks.
