Yeah, Hudson and Leiter really hurt me this week. :(

Clement's early exit really hurt. Kevin Brown threw and hit him right on the bicep of his pitching arm. What a low down, dirty trick from a washed up has-been. He knows that he can't win legit, so he beans him and takes him out of the game. The Cubbies should have cleared their bench and broken his arms for that.

Anyway, it looks like you'll come out on top. Don't count your chickens yet, though. A lot of my guys hit homers today (Fick, Bernie (2), Zeile, Delgado) so I may have a chance. I still think you'll win, though.

Never mind. I forgot you have Berkman. I have no chance.

    Punk.

I got 18 from Berkman, plus a homer from Guillen and a win from Nen, plus 4 or 5 FP's from several other batters. I should pull this one out.

I sure wish Sandbox would get the live scoring fixed. I hate chasing down scores from box scores.

Keith Foulke has been killing me. He's getting like zero save opportunities.

I'm gonna bench that worthless bum and hope Urby keeps up his pace.

The same here for Troy Percival. He's a great closer, but the Angels have been blowing teams out of the water lately, so no save opportunities.

Mesa got me 3 saves in 3 days and Jorge Julio got 2 saves. That will make up for Randy not pitching Saturday, like he was supposed to. Just read that he was trying to throw yesterday but his back is still bothering him:(

I'm not even sure if my 80 point lead held up on sunday. The Envy went ballistic on me Sunday. It should be pretty close, but I may have lost a game I should have won.

Glad you posted that. I missed that completely somehow. Good trade. We both filled some gaping holes.

Decent trade for both teams. If Alou can ever get healthy, he should put up nice numbers in Wrigley. Can Hillenbrand keep it up all season? Glaus is a top 5 3rd baseman, Shea (should play for the Mets with that name) is unproven.

Mo Vaughn has been disappointing so far, and Derek Lee is overated, so Sexson is a nice pickup. Ventura is a nice backup/utility inf. Shawn Green will not have the season he had last year now that Sheffield is not hitting behind him. Washburn is just a throw in.

Speaking of Mo Vaughn, he has been using his usual 36 ounce bats this season, or so he thought.

He broke his hand earlier this season, and lately his arm has been bothering him. They put one of his bats on a scale and found out they actually weigh 39 ounces!!!!

So if Mo starts using a 36 ouncer that can mean only one of two things, extra bat speed and more homers or he'll throw out his back from all the extra torque.:D

Top to bottom, only a two game difference. This league is really tight. Anybody could win this thing.
