It’s an amazing concept that nonsense is not suppose to be a threat …well we are seeing it. All you have to do is google “defund the police signs”.,. you get these images of some protestors from BLM or some other nutjobs - Often times the signs will usually say “abolish the police” or typically both signs are together

police is bad -defund it , abolish it…Do what you gotta do to make it go away and then what? what’s remaining…nothing , that’s what. I can’t imagine running a business when you have everything against you from a theft, safety and logistics POV

Funny thing is dumbasses think its due to low sales. How about you start putting criminals in jails and more cops in the streets? Guess what? El Salvador has more Wal-Marts than Portland.

Its backwards thinking, I do wonder thou at what point they start accepting they were wrong. Criminals will continue to commit crimes until there is enforcement of the law by both cops and judges. Some criminals even ask for woke judges so they can be set free to carry on with whatever they want....

I have spent my career in marketing and PR, and represented retail clients. Companies never want to publicly admit they are doing something because of poor sales - it's terrible for the brand. They will always spin something for the positive - ALWAYS....if you want to know the truth, read the 10-K. The media overlooks the 10-K because it comes out much later by time it's not news anymore. But they can't like in the 10-K because you can't lie to your shareholders. But you can lie to the public and that's why my entire profession exists.

And I am telling you, the reason a store closes is because it doesn't make money. But it's much better story to say, "oh it's to protect our employees, and the blame is the city for not giving us cops to protect our store from theft." That's not written by the company, it's written by the PR firm working for the company. I've been in this business a long time, that's how it works.

    Don’t reply to @Sweet Lou 4 2
He’s not even reading the article or videos or statements by the city of San Francisco or Whole Foods
This Whole Foods in the middle of San Francisco and it’s the largest one. It opened last year.

this is coming right after the death of Bob Lee which
    The police made this statement
They had to because tech executives won’t go there if it’s not safe

Lol, I haven't dug into this store closing but I guarantee you no business will permanently close a store down if it's profitable. If it was actually because of employee safety / theft, they wouldn't permanently close just solve the problem. Especially after one year.

The store is either not profitable (which is hard to believe they'd give up on it after one year) or they are closing it to make some changes and plan to reopen it once they have implemented those changes.

    Where did I say that?

Seems like Whole Foods is trying to put political pressure to get some concessions, will get it, and then reopen. This was definitely a play here. Smart move.

Doesn't matter is has a fraction of the murders that happen in Indianapolis or Jacksonville (similarly sized cities), and less violent crime than 2/3 of American cities. But hey if someone posts enough on twitter, you will believe anything right?

They interviewed some residents and business leaders

Check out mid video of all the drug users

The city is known for getting easy drugs cause they don’t do anything to drug dealers or users
Guess what happens when you have too many drug addicts ?

Yvonne has seen things …bad things. ..I’ll take someone’s word that has lived there in San Fran for decades and admitted it is going from bad to worse
@Sweet Lou 4 2 really should watch some of these videos maybe he will understand the reality

I can turn any place into a shithole by going on youtube and finding videos to portray it that way. Facts are better. I've seen SF change a lot over the years - no I wouldn't live there. Not because of the crime rate though.
