San Diego Group's Clippers Game Experience (Pics)...

yeah been sporting it pretty much since 2002 probably been clean shaven 4 times during that span only for major family occasions otherwise its there. i havent trimmed it though in a real long time. my goatee turns rocket red after a few days which is always strange to me since i have black hair and it starts off black. man i hope to come out to houston for a playoff game so better save some extra $ so we can go together.

btw i'd like to chip in for your suite tix if it hasnt been paid in full yet.

 

Yea u guys got your 15 seconds of fame, I kept seeing that big Yao head and 3 guys wearing all red, and knew they musta been from Clutchfans.

Would running on the court, get you kicked out or arrested?

This thread is extremely interesting to say the very least. That's why clutchfans.net is so special. Devoted fans who are generous enough to share their game time experience...you guys rock.

 

I believe it has been taken care of, which blows me away...the members here never fail to surprise me.

All told, I only managed to find about 45 seconds of tv time for LA Rox fans, but Im gonna leave it in mpeg2 form and upload it since the size isnt too bad.

 

oh my gosh!!!! lucky guys, i will never get that close in a basketball game..
(thats my dream before i die, sit somewhere close, maybe court-side) although i m too poor....i get the cheap seats that u cant see anything except little people running around and dunking

really...if you arent likely to have been caught on tv at the Clippers game, you probably have no interest in this file, it is just less than a minute of footage of Rockets fans, the highlight video will be posted in my thread in the next half hour.

 

we had a great time yesterday. looking back, its pretty crazy we went from driving up from SD to LA with no tickets to sitting behind the clippers bench. i really can't add anything that scyman hasn't already said but i can say that from a viewing standpoint, sitting courtside isn't ideal. the action is so fast paced, you actually get a better experience watching from a distance.

the usher of the courside section was horrible. i think because we were rockets fans behind the clippers bench and not wearing suits and ties, it was his obligation to keep us in check. seriously, how many times do you need check someone's ticket? and everytime i looked over at him, he was staring right at us.

other than that, i had an excellent time. running into les alexander as we were leaving was pretty cool. he was really nice and was happy to take pictures with us. he even suggested to "take a few more" after the first picture and to top it all off, it was his wife that was snapping the shots.

imo, sitting behind a bench is one of the worst positions, because the players are so freaking tall. It was really bad sitting behind Rudy, for how tall he was. JVG probably is not as bad.

that said. one of my past ticket reps one game got me THE courtside seats opposite the benches. I always thought nothing was as good as centered at basket level. I was wrong.

in theeeeeee courtside seats, while you have to be an NBA scout to follow everything at that perspective, you don't have to be an NBA scout to hear the players talking to each other. It is amazing...unlike any level of bball I've ever witnessed, how much they talk to each other.

that said....you can also see under the cheerleaders little bitty skirts without even tryingl

 

Ive been ten rows from the corner of the Rockets bench once, that was awesome....and of course the suites are freaking SWEET!

but I think I could die a happy man if I could watch a Rockets game from courtside like that. (a great matchup with our guys firing on all cylinders please)

absolute heaven.

 

The day i sit courtside will be something. Behind the bench isn't my favorite place though... You can't see anything.
