I agree he is vastly overpaid, but he's not terrible. I'd love to have to a legit 7 footer that isn't an oaf. Who knows, a change of scenery might do him good. Besides, if we're going to take on a talent like Iggy for our trash, we're going to have to eat a bad contract. How many years is left on his deal anyway?
i keep reading overpaid, i mean, mac's getting 23 mil for chilling at home playing his PS3. and you're complaining about a legit 7 footer getting 10+ rebounds and points per... i don't get it.
My thought exactly. Dalembert would be an asset in my opinion. He would be great on this team. If we traded for someone making $23 mill who gave us 5 points on 2 shots it's more production than we are getting from mac right now.
Honestly my only issue with Dalembert and Iggy is figuring out how to get them on the floor. I would be surprised if Dalembert's defensive contributions matched Hayes, and it would be nice to be able to keep giving Andersen minutes.
a 7 footer who blocks shots, rebounds, hits a high % of his fg's as well as his free throws. i'll take him and pay that 15% trade kicker anyday. when yao comes back, he would be a great back up to yao and a more than capable fill in when yao is down.
I think his playing has been influenced by the Haiti situation. Everyone in the Nba is talented ( on different levels of course) but not all play with heart. Now though Dalembert is playing with heart. Btw we should trade t-mac for iggy and dalembert. Then if needed we'll trade him at the deadline. ( Brooks, Dalembert, Scola for Chris Paul?)
Some of you guys way over value our current players when it comes to trades. Dalembert plays one of the biggest needs this team has I love Chuck but come on we have a guy who is 6'6" as our starting center this season. If he doesn't work out his contract expires next season anyways.
