Lowry, Dragic, Flynn Martin, Lee, TWill Budinger, Morris, Parsons Scola, Patterson, Adrien Hill, Dalembert, Thabeet Does signing Dalembert mean they've totally given up hope on Thabeet or Scola played too well in the first pre-season game and they have a trade lined up?
Great, I hope this is true. I do not think Morey will overpay him, so we will still have a cap for next player. I still think current team will have better future with a trade of Paul Gasol.
We needed a legit center. We have one. I love that it's a 2 year deal. His contract will be easy to move if an oppurtunity presents itself.
LOL. Well, this at least assures that we have average players at every position now. Rockets really had to choose one of two things -- sink or swim. Instead they went with option #3: Float.
This is so stupid! This move makes us better, but we still will not be good enough to advance out of the first round. We need stars and if the wont come via free agency then we have to get them through the draft. We need top lottery picks! This move means we will be treading water again for the next few years! We are going to be one and done and with the 18 or 19th pick. When is Les going to wake up and realize we need to rebiuld through tbe draft. I want to win championships! THIS TEAM IS STILL NOT EVEN IN THE TOP TEN! I am so frustrated!!
Lin and Smith have fully unguaranteed contracts. Minus those two the Rockets have 15 players. It's a shame they're going to have to let Smith go.
It's all about value- if the Rockets get a starting caliber center at a reasonable contract the signing is worth it. Les is not going to let the team tank.
Maybe, maybe no. His rebounding and blocked shot numbers are very good. Never below double figure rebounds per 36 in his career, never under 2.2 blks. He'll make the team worse offensively though.
