I still don't understand why people believe this.

Been said a thousand times, but I will say it again. We outperformed our record last year and we were only 3 games out. Our roster did not change very much at all. Before signing Dalembert I think the 8th seed was a distinct possibility.

Say what you want about Dalembert, but what he does is exactly what we were missing and making the playoffs should be a given now. The 6th mabye 5th seed sounds about right to me.

Ironically, he took less money to sign with us.

    Go figure!

Lol at some of you saying the Rockets should pass on SD and just give the money to Chuck after his voided contract.

    True story

I hope he forgets about the money soon because THAT was frustrating him the whole time.

Weren't you the guy that also had "13-3" in his sig? And then after the Bengal game, didn't you continue to have "13-3" in your sig, with the added touch of "I told you!", or something like it? Why should we continue to care about your sig again?

Sad story with Chuck but actually Samuel did not cost us more than some might thought. Around the same price, a tad more.

None taken, but you are wrong! We were playing like a top 6 team in the west at the end of last season. We have only improved, are defense was gonna
Be better without Sammy, with him our D should be fine. Not great, but good.

Its funny how we all forget how good/bad a team is during the offseason. This team doesn't suck!

82 GAMES (or this season 66 GAMES)

Not counting Yao's first couple seasons -

When was the LAST time the Rockets had A 7 FOOTER than could provide that?

All I heard last year was everybody just saying that all we needed last year was a defensive center who was tall now we got one and the same team intact

We needed a legit center and now we have one at an easy price, and still maintain flexibility.

As far as the negative comments, fans in general (not cf.net) deserve a winning team. Not tomorrow, but today. Fans, in general, that spend $100 deserve to see their team win live. Fans want to brag about their winning team to their buds on the coast today, not next year. Fortunately for the fans Les knows this.

Dalembert is more like a 9 rebound, 2 block player. I would trade a 14th pick for that. The NBA Draft is a complete crapshoot. Remember Bryce Drew, Turkcsan, Jason Collier - that's who you're talking about at 14. Ppl overrate the NBA Draft.

His 19.3 percent rebound rate ranked only behind Dwight Howard, Jeff Forster, and Tyson Chandler among centers with regular minutes.

Dalembert can rebound the ball for sure.
