stop giving a damn about what other people use for phones now, lets talk about how sweet our nexus/android phones are purchased wave launcher, love it so far !!!
Well, I'm just going off of my opinion. I didn't mean to come off as if tech savvy people don't use iPhones because you're right, some do. I just feel in general that Android isn't for everyone and therefore people think that Android sucks.
The Nexus One was a nice device I would say, and especially the White Nexus S Either way, AOSP is the way to go No sense, no touchwiz, no blur, etc
Wave Launcher is awesome if you want to change the look of your icons, it works with ADW themes. If you dont' like to use ADW, you can still download themes and use the icons in it, and Wave launcher will recognize them, heh.
Was thinking of getting the Samsung Galaxy 2 but Android kind of disappoint me. Too similar to iOS. After seeing that that gorgeous Nokia N9 I knew I must have that damn phone but it would be with Windows 7 Mango. Not really a big fan of Mango yet but it's a change from iOS and Android. I think I gotten sick of all the phone that look too similar alike with the round edges. If Android carry the Nokia N9 lookalike I would definitely jump on it. wow the nexus one and nexus s were both very conservative... seems like they threw that out the window with this... 4.65" is huge... though i don't mind... sometimes i feel like my nexus s is too small battery life may be suspect
It might be a timed Verizon Exclusive. The Nexus One originally was out on Tmobile, along with the Nexus S, and then eventually settled onto different carriers. However, I'm sure the Nexus Prime will have a European GSM variant that will get imported over and be on AT&t before other carriers actually pick it up.
I dont really care much for the camera... but 5 MP seems like a let down considering most phones these days are coming out with 8 MP and 2 MP on the front.
i actually expected the modest cameras... the prior nexuses(or is it nexii?) didn't get great cameras either like the nexus s, that camera wasn't as good as the samsung galaxy s counterparts
I honestly don't think that's correct. Even the Epic 4g touch (Original Galaxy S CDMA variant) had an 8 megapixel camera. You can't really trust BGR nowadays. If for some reason it does have a 5 megapixel camera, we've got to keep in mind that it could feature some new type of optics. I personally dont' feel that it's all about the pixels. For example, the iPhone 4s takes amazing pictures in comparison to some Android phones with 8 megapixel cameras. If you want a nice camera, get a camera , or you could get the Panasonic Lumix Android phone. That thing has a 13 megapixel camera I believe (I'm not sure )
For sure. It's not always all about pixels when it comes to the quality. I'm HOPING this phone is out for AT&T later on with LTE support. The main reason for me getting this phone would be the LTE part.
