Looks like the rumored HD super AMOLED screen is true from these leaked pics. I may consider picking up this phone if its for AT&T's new LTE.

If iPhone 5 just doesn't do it for me, I may have to pick this up if its available for AT&T.

Well, it's definitely coming to VZW according to multiple sources.
I spoke with (TeamAndIrc) regarding the leak at the HTC Dev stand at the BBQ this Saturday in Austin, and the leak for ice cream sandwich is real. It's running a Linux 3.0 kernel, all Android phones are running a varient of version 2.

The specs on this thing are incredible, and if you're tech savvy and can adapt to something new, this will be alot better than the iPhone 5.

Expect the announcement at CTIA in the next week or so :)

Another phone that may be worth holding out for is the "HTC Vigor", and HTC employee actually let me play with this phone on Saturday.
It's like a Sensation running on Verizon LTE, clocked in at 1.5 ghz with a gig of ram :)

However, I want the new version of Android, and no bloatware :)
(i remove it anyways via root but none out of the box is awesome )

How's the battery life on this? I'm just so skeptical about the battery life on Android based cell phones.

I've gotten crazy battery life on Android just by modifying the kernel, and setting profiles to control my CPU usage. If you're an average consumer, alot can be modified in the settings to help achieve that. LTE is definitely a battery hog, but I can see them putting a 1800mah battery in this. If that's the case, then it should be fine :)

So long as they don't put a 1400mah battery in a 4g phone (Thunderbolt), it's not too much of a concern. Samsung usually has decent battery life out of their phones, and the AMOLED screen helps, especially if you have a black background or so.

Is the VZW version going to be pure Ice Cream Sandwich? Supposedly, VZW passed on the Galaxy S2 for this, but I'd hate it if they bloat it as a Droid Prime.

I don't think you should have to do all that just to get good battery life. It should be good, straight out the box. That is the only thing I like from iPhone over android, their battery life is stellar.

I agree, but since Android is really fragmented, you could easily find a device with stellar battery life :)
    Btw, Fragmentation sucks.

I honestly feel that average consumers should stick to the iPhone and believe it's a better phone than all other phones lol
Leave Android to the nerds that know what's up :p

Though the Galaxy S2 offers decent battery life and a user friendly interface :)

I enjoy both OS's actually, but Android offers alot more , at least for me.

looking at the picture posted by the op... i still don't get it. so google decides against physical or capacitive buttons only to have them on screen for still awkward hand movement? granted this is only one screenshot, but why not go the gesture route? i dunno. it just seems with screens getting bigger and bigger, one-handed operation becomes more and more difficult- especially when having to reach to the lower portion of the phone most phone operations.

hopefully this one shot is a fluke and more gestures are incorporated throughout icecream sandwich.

    "per hour of music"

My Android devices usually pull about 21 hours of battery life. Then again I know what I'm doing in terms of modifying linux kernels.

I played with the ATT version of the GS2 this past Saturday. It's a great device, and I like the smaller screen size. 4.5 is just too much for me .

Yeah, exactly. Though the Droid Prime may be smaller since it supposedly doesnt have hardware buttons.

Nexus Prime will most likely still have it's own T-mobile GSM varient. Might be a timed exclusive with VZW first.
