I think a phone with a screen 4.8 or the size of the S3 is the largest I would like a phone before it just becomes too big to grip. I agree to all the statement about phones going thinner ... that **** just become slippery. Prob end up getting a thick shell to use it I just have this feeling Samsung Galaxy is going to over take the Iphone in the coming years .... The new features that people are waiting for from the Iphone (bigger screen, 4LTE, and better camera) is already done by other phones, and the Iphone screen is still alot smaller than the Galaxy. This is coming from an Iphone user for the past 4 yrs .... Usually I'm ready to sell mine and get the latest Iphone, but this time I dont have that itch.
Welcome to the dark side man. As for phones getting thinner, that is what needs to happen. As once you out a decent case on then, they become just right.
Samsung should come out with something like Apple TV and a really good integration of different devices. I think the S3 itself is technically superior to the iphone 5, but Apple's integration of various devices is a big plus for them in terms of ease of use and usefulness (although it is also a negative in how much they restrict freedom of developers and consumers).
With comparable OS's, screen size wins. S3 hits the sweet spot, no way I'd go w/ anything smaller from now on.
Why do they need a device, that they charge people for, when its a button push away on your phone. Play it right on your TV.
Well, that would be even better - I have a Samsung Phone and a Samsung TV. I am not aware that I can do that, though.
I just got an S3 yesterday for my girlfriend. I'd stay with my iPhone 4S if I had a choice of the phones. Battery life and cheap plastic makes that phone not attractive to me.
My brother-in-law just bought a Samsung "smart TV" last night and gave us his older model 52-inch Samsung HDTV.:grin::grin:
What a stroke of luck! How big is the new TV he just bought? 60"? 70"? I'd want a significant size upgrade to give away a 52" display (not that I would... I'd put it in my spare bedroom). Pretty crazy. :-D-
Do you know how to check which apps are eating up your battery life? Have you done a google search to see if it's a common problem? If not, here are some links: http://www.autoomobile.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s3-tips-battery-life/1003627/ http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2012/07/31/cure-for-samsung-galaxy-s3-battery-problems/ http://www.ibtimes.com/samsung-gala...n-problems-and-find-out-if-your-device-742854
I still like the way the iphone easily integrates into all my other stuff. I don't really want to spend the time getting into a new phone and trying to sync everything up. I have 4S and have no interest in going to a 5. I thought there was a bigger improvement from the 4 to the 4S. I don't really care about screen size and would never want anything bigger than what the iphone 5 has. I'm sure the Samsung has a lot of great stuff.
Besides the general construction quality of the iPhone the other thing I think it does better... way better actually is battery life. Samsung phones suck batteries down quick. But like Brando with Apple i'm too synched with android/ google to switch now and like I said earlier I like the big screens for games and browsing.
True. But Android devices offer replaceable batteries, usually at a very low cost. Thus, having a spare or two is zero problem.
I think it's somewhere in the 50s, but the fact it's a "smart TV" is what made the difference. My wife's sister and her husband are into buying nice stuff and we ended up getting the ultimate hand-me-down. Because I'm a cheapskate, my family isn't into really big screens. To us, this 52-incher looks like a monster. When they were over last night, part of me wanted to ask if they had lost their mind
