I'd be very happy to see Rudy pick up some assistant coaches. Any. But especially proven winners that would roast him for dumb-a$* bul$s@it, like Hakeem, Kareem and Ralph. I'd love to see any of these give a clinic to our big men. Geez, just pay for a special coaching session, if you can't handle assistants.
It's good pub, if nothing else.

I am all for it! Ralph can show Yao how to avoid injury and how to avoid mistakes and what not! Maybe Ralph can live out his dreams through Yao considering Ralph's career ending injuries.

Nice to see a guy that still want to give back to his old team some 15 years since hes been out of the league.
Yaos talent + some great coaching and we have something scary to watch. And its already something to watch.

    This is interesting.

Notice that Sampson said, "staying big?"

What he means by that is that sometimes,
bigmen come into the league and they
play small. They don't use their size. They
    play timid.

Shawn Bradley has done this for most of his
    career. Played small.

Sampson can teach Yao how to play big and
use his size the right way.

Currently Yao does NOT know how to rebound
like a big man. Anyone notice that he brings
the ball down around his chin, after he
rebounds, and it always gets stripped?
He's also getting tied up a lot; jump balls.
Way too many jump balls for Yao.

Sampson will teach Yao how to rebound
and keep the ball away from those pesky
    guards/fowards.

Im sure this would really help Yao. Im pretty sure I remember hearing about Larry Bird bringing in Bill Russell to help Jermaine with his game. That seemed to work out pretty well for the Pacers, Im sure Yao could really benefit from some tutoring by Sampson. Lets just hope he doesnt give Yao any advice on stayin healthy...:D

That's why I would like to see a mini-camp, or perhaps a series of them, taught by Sampson, Dream and Kareem for the benefit of our Rockets big men.

Dream and Moses teaching Eddie and Yao. Wow, after a summer of that, this team will be unstoppable on the inside, especially if Eddie puts on another 10-15lbs till next season.

That would be great if they also spend some time teaching Eggie how to do his thing down low..
You know that Dream and Big Mo have tons of knowledge about how it's done..

I'm really happy with EG's progress this last week, here's to hoping he can keep it up and continue his inside game..

Maybe he can lend Yao some of his remaining 36" verticle leap.
