Samoa Air Airline to charge overweight passengers more

So... if you're AWARE it's partly genetic... it's part of your solution. You know you shouldn't eat more... but... you still eat more? EAT LESS since you know what's causing it!

Even if it weren't genetic, still, you should keep your weight LOW. As an equal, can I get this through to you? My 98 booming with a trunk of funk... all the jealous punks can't stop the dunk.

 

I think lost in all of this is the fact that Samoa (and much of the Pacific) has a unique problem.

Samoa is one of the most overweight countries in the world. (Over 80% of the country is classified as overweight according to the WHO)

Also Samoa doesnt have the cultural attitudes toward weight that America has. While we have rising obesity, we as a country are very retiscent about revealing weight so I imagine there would be a massive uproar if any American airline tried this.

But in Samoa I dont think they have an issue with revealing weight so this might fly out there.
