if we had a vocal leader that displayed intensity on the court then I'll be all for it such as RonRon or even Rafer, they knew how to keep other players in check but as of now, I think he'll destroy all the chemistry on our team, if we had any.

The Kings need to dump Evans, not Cousins. Trade him to Chicago for Bogans and filler, or whatever it takes to get him out of town.

Dream used to have a big temper and fight all the time. He didn't start winning rings until he controlled his temper and stopped hitting his teammates, though. There are good ways and bad ways to show passion. Hakeem took his passion and energy and took it out on the opponent to win 2 rings.

He still give teammates, an earful, but without the slap or punches in Cousins's case.

Thank you. Some people here have forgotten this or are too young to know about his change. Back in the day, I read that refs hated Hakeem's guts because he blasted them with profanity so much. Then he figured it out. The change in on-court demeanor of Hakeem from early in his career to the championship years was radical.

The problem with Sac is they have picked the wrong alpha dog. Their promotion of Tyreke in his rookie year was insane and it warped that kid. He's not that good. If he had been treated like every other rookie, he would not have won the ROY and he might have been working on improving his game all summer. Instead they handed him the reigns and ran pick and rolls al lgame long for him. Tyreke is simply not that good.

Now along comes Cousins and he recognizes Tyreke's ineficiencies immediately. And God forbid, he says something??!?!? Now, they've got a huge problem. It remind me of Shaq/Kobe except these guys are a rookie and second year guy. Tyreke respects none of his mates. And you can tell most of them are sick of it. Cousins' personality is a mixture of Karl and Shaq. He just calls it like he sees it and he don't take no .... off nobody. I suspect this part of Cousins is not going to change. He knows they ain't winning and he knows they aren't going to win playing Tyreke ball. Cousins is an environment changer. I suspect this will continue until Sacramento readjusts Tyreke or move Cousins.

You could see Cousins run off the court angry after the game. I thought he was mad at the refs.

As for people asking why he went after Greene and not Tyreke? When Cousins was running off of the court it looked like Greene said something to him.

Maybe, just maybe, this will shed some light on why Martin was so damn glad to get traded from the Kings and away from Mr. Evans.

Why suspend him? I for one believe that having a player who is questioning the plays and wants to win is a good thing.

Really don't like Tyreke Evans. Classic case of a guy who thinks he's better than he really is. Some of the worst ballhogging I ever seen.

Watched the inbound play. Donte is taking the ball out on the side. Cousins flashes the post and is open, Donte looks and goes up top to Tyreke, who dribbled it down and fired. Cousins was open. He should've got the basketball, for the layup I might add. Donte too slow to pull the trigger. It was like he didn't want to look. He didn't even really consider the first option.

I figured Dalembert and Landry would be the ones getting on Evans. The guy is either a PG with a very high turnover rate or a SG who can't shoot. However, both Dalembert and Landry will be FA's after this season, so I imagine they don't want to get into anything knowing that they'll be signing elsewhere.

Good for Cousins, as much potential as Evans has he clearly plays his own game and ignores his teamates. This isn't quite Shaq and Kobe but it's close. The Kings don't need an alpha dog veteran, though it couldn't hurt, what they need is an alpha dog GM and coach. Someone with the brass and gall to put both players in their position and make them learn to love it. I'd almost hate to say Avery Johnson but they need somebody to give those players a few nut shots.

I know Cousins is a hot-head and almost immature, like alot of teenagers who are suddenly struck with fame; fortune; and women with buzzing panties.

But, he actually has alot of potential to be a very good player in the NBA, he also does not seem to enjoy Sacramento. He would be better off a team surrounded with veterans and not other young players who are not trying to be a star, and rather know their roles.

If he sees how things work a fairly decent team, he'll understand the sacrifices of "personal talent" for success, he'll also maximize he's potential as being an important player who is definitely All-Star worthy.

He'd be perfect in Houston, he'd would find himself as a likely go-to player without question, outside of Kevin Martin, and even against some teams he'd be the most beneficial player for the Rockets, when they face a colossus, like the Spurs; Celtics; or Lakers.

This. Thank you. There's no combination of players on this team I wouldn't trade for Cousins.

Man, I wonder how he's gonna turn out when he is 25-27. He's prob. gonna punch out his team mates to get more touches.

Clearly Cousins is immature and that gets the best of him from time to time. But I also think what gets lost in all of these incidents is the fact that he didn't want to get drafted by the Kings in the first place and they drafted him anyway.

So when the Kings put an immature 20 year old on a team he didn't want to get drafted by in the first place you have to expect some of this type of behavior. I don't condone this type of behavior for a 2 year old let alone a 20 year old. However, I also don't believe that it is coincidence that Cousins lashed out again a week and a half before the trade deadline. I think Cousins and his agent have had an agenda to try to get the Kings to trade him every since he was drafted. It's just a question of when enough will be enough for the Kings because I doubt they are going to be a winning team anytime soon.

When did he say he didn't want to be drafted by the Kings? Only team that I saw that he didn't want to play for was Golden St.

Cousins didn't seem to have any problems getting along with Wall and Pat Pat last year.
