The chubby Geico executive guy (who dances "the Robot") is in, like, everything now. It's kind of hard to buy him as top-level management of Geico when he's in the next commercial hawking Netflix.
That was "Understanding Your Credit" with the Fannie Mae Foundation. All Rockets' fans will know that because the FMF sponsored the Rockets, or viceversa (is that a non-profit organization?) No, it's awesome that I wasn't the only one noticing this. Actually, THIS is my hobby... the CF.net site... ClutchCityReturns and Franchise3, I believe that guy is also the "DirectTV" snapping fingers dad, who doesn't read his son a book, but just keeps on amusing him with snapping fingers... Also, one of the guys who came out with the same black dude we're going nuts about in the IBM "sturdy laptop" commercials is in the Dodge Ram "this-truck-is-big" commercial. He drives people around. Also, the "I LOVE YOU, MAN!" dude from the Budweiser commercials in the late '90s is back in the "Not YET. NOT YET!" Cici's Pizza commercials now... weird.
The Aflak guy, he's also in the Motel 6 commercial as the baseball manager doing the signs and he slaps the guy's butt at the end. he doesn't talk in another one. he's in a few others. that capital one guy with David Spade is in alot of commercials. Did anyone notice Krazy Eyed Killa from Curb Your Enthusiasm in one of the "I'm gellen" commercials?
that's not the same guy is it? the guy in the motel 6 commercial is the guy in the movie 'Life" when they're at ray's boom-boom room who's rolling the dice and says "7, my man!" if you mean the dude who keeps hearing the duck but no one else does, that has to be someone different, right? or am i crazy. no way. i'll have to look for him next time. i almost don't wanna see him b/c i'll never be able to see that episode again the same way. maybe it's just b/c i've watched more nbc shows than anything else, but nbc uses the same actors over and over for bit parts (and bigger parts) in their sitcoms. lisa kudrow was on cheers. frasier's dad on frasier was a jingle creator on one of the last episodes of cheers. roz on frasier was a reporter on one of the last episodes. carter's grandma on ER was cliff's mother on cheers. and so many other people. it seems like every time a sitcom needs someone for a quick appearance, they have to come from some other nbc sitcom, like it's an old movie studio where they have people under contract. i don't notice it as much on cbs or abc, but maybe they do it as well.
Just got another one in my head. The guy from the "McGriddles early snack for me" commercial where he goes to a club and eats an early breakfast at 4ish or 5ish is the same dude that gets hit on the head with a newspaper after dropping off the girl on her doorstep and he still smells nice in the "I had a great time tonight" Old Spice deodorant commercial. OK.
