personally i would hold on to lin and asik ... try to get howard and then during teh season or after next season see if wolves decide to give up on love and try to trade asik and lin for love (another team would have ot get involved bc clearly wolves dont need a pointguard or a center) another possiblity is see if celts wanna blow it all up and see if they will take lin and asik for rondo

God that team would be awesome. Love will do if we can't get Paul. We'd never get outrebounded with Love and Howard on the boards.

Considering the fact that Harden had no problem co-existing with Durant and Westbrook I'm sure he has no problem co-existing with CP3.

Could care less what Sam Smith has to say.

But I'm excited because Morey should be dealing from a position of strength for the first time since he joined the Rockets. Superstar in place, high upside young players, key positions filled at reasonable contract value, and expirings galore.

The offseason will be interesting. Everybody but Harden is tradable.

Be interesting to see Harden hand off to CP3 and sit on the bench. LOL.

    So what?

You act like he is a selfish player.

Harden is not fine. That's why he got traded.
You simply cannot keep three stars in one team. There is
    only one ball.

He'd still be the man, just the best point guard in the league would be setting him up.

Chris Paul averages around the same shots per game as Lin and Dragic.

Harden will still be taking 17-18 shots per game and averaging 24+ points.

He averaged 17 points with 10 shots per game playing next to the most selfish point guard in the league & Durant, while playing limited minutes.

It's laughable to think he wouldn't be putting up 20+ next to Paul.

You would think the Olympic squad would suck with the logic you guys are using.

What a moronic statement. Harden's role with the Thunder was completely different from his role with the Rockets. And he is getting paid accordingly.

Harden is at his best with the ball in his hands. Same with CP3. I am sure they can play with one another (e.g. Olympics) but their game is not the most complementary. It makes no sense to recruit and PAY superstar players who do not complement one another.

The point is to win championships. Chemistry, not name recognition, is the most important objective.

I understanding trading lin but if we give up omer for locker room cancer dwight, i will blow an effing gasket. When has dwight ever acted like a champion? This better be typical sam smith bs.

Worked with Miami but it took over a year and they all commited to sacrifice their games for a championship. Point I'm trying to make is you can't just put players together without considering playing style, egos, commitment to team play, etc. If you need a great example of what I'm saying just look at the Lakers. Everyone expected to see them in the finals against Miami this year but they're lucky if they make the playoffs.

Waste of talent having both CP3 and Harden on the same team.

    Ideally, it should be:
PG: Shutdown defender who can spot up for 3s.
    SG: Harden
    SF: Parson or upgrade
PF: Love or if you want to upgrade SF for a athletic, lockdown wing defender instead, Ilyasova or Ryan Anderson or even DMo
    C: Howard.

Oh please that's the exact same argument with Wade and Lebron but they are both co-existing perfectly fine are they not?

You are foolish if you think Harden and/or Chris Paul cannot adapt to game to best compliment each other.

Nah, they're going to phase out the Kobe era and build around D12. $30M coming off the books with Kobe's retirement, Laker organization's winning reputation, and the glitz and glamor of Hollywood will make them major players in free agency in upcoming years. It's going to be Dwight Howard, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving in Hollywood.
