He does not. http://www.82games.com/0708/07CHI14D.HTM http://www.82games.com/0607/06CHI14D.HTM Ben Wallace is washed up and sucks.
In theory, i'm talking. Back in his prime when and especially when the Pistons won their championship he was a game changing defensive presence and that's what i'm referring to.
quote you on what? i'm just making sure everyone in the forum knows that you have more basketball knowledge than anyone else on here. and also make sure that the only category of players there are, are the ones your proclaim. please enlighten us further. thanks
Tmac + Battier for Gordon, Deng, and Hinrich. Gordon is leaving. Hinrich is having a bad year and might get benched for Duhon. Deng is value for Tmac and Battier. Value for value. Retooled Rox can attack the basket, have a true floor general. Obviously, we'd prefer to package Tmac with James or Alston or Francis, but you have to give something up to get players. Battier is more a Scott Skiles guy than a Rick Adleman guy.
I agree when it comes to getting the team over the hump, but he has shown he can get the team to over 50 wins. The team's struggles are not a result of what his lack of heart, it is lack of production and consistency from the role players.
1. 3 years worth of nagging injuries 2. failing to advance in the playoffs, you can tell me all the bull that TMac was great in the playoffs but if your the leader you have to find a way to get it done. 3. New system that doesn't match TMac's style of play. 4. No heart....don't matter if were losing. TMac will be traded before we play Memphis....book it!!!!
The only reason Chicago wants to trade for an elite NBA guard is because they miss the Jordan days - they want to see a guard like Tracy McGrady or Kobe lighting it up for their team again. We should exploit this to our full advantage and get some real ballers with heart onto this Rockets team.
The team has a 63% winning % with T-Mac, 11-42 without him...are you really comfortable with trading him for struggling players like Gordon (streak scorer, doesn't do much else) and Wallace (who is on the big time decline anyway)? The Bulls would get a HUGE steal with that kind of trade, and the Rockets' biggest problems would still be there (offensive liability at the 4, inconsistency in the lineup, need of a truly good PG, inconsistent/poor coaching, etc..).
Who? The same Kirk Hinrich who you just said might get benched for Duhon and is shooting worse than Rafer? Or how about Godon, who is also shooting worse than Rafer? Or how about Deng, who is not a guy you just give the ball to anywhere and say "create for yourself or your teammates" like you can with T-Mac? The Bulls wouldn't do this deal...dealing away all their good youth for an injury prone star and a solid role player. They wouldn't even do that deal for Kobe+random role player on the Lakers. They'd give up one of their good young players, and hen give you a salary to make it a match.
How about Noccioni, I like his hustles and high bball iq, also he is argentinian, national teamate of scola. deng/gordon are still in the mist this year.
I'll be the first to admit that I've been down on T-mac and bashed him to no end. However, I wished all these BS trade ideas were a moot point if he actually played with some god damn passion and fire. Ben Freakin Wallace and Ben Gordon? Any package that didn't include Luol Deng is a no go. Even a package with Deng.... all things considered if T-mac can man the F up and play like he should we will be fine. I watched this earlier to re-kindle the love for T-mac. I wish he would play with the type of fire and intensity he shows after making that final shot. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ceLlz7dOOvY&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ceLlz7dOOvY&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
also to keep in mind, gotta have roster spots open for incoming players a trade like McGrady for Deng/Gordon/Nocioni/Noah would put the Rockets roster at 18 players. So the Rockets would have to include others to even it out or cut players. not concerned with a McGrady trade this year, but McGrady making $21 million NEXT year and $23 million the year after, maaan...something to think about. thats what makes a deal including Ben Wallace a dumb move. instead of McGrady partly earning his salary, put Wallace's fat unproductive contract on the payroll instead?
learn how to do a link properly, cause it didnt work. i'm assuming the categories and list of players are forthcoming. but those players your named earlier was probably the extent of your basketball knowledge. thanks.
Ummmm no one fits in to This offense so y not bring in some defensive presence? if they throw in another player u hav to consider it
So you guys want to trade Tmac, why not make a 3 way trade where we get Yao out as well........ Heck lets do a 15 man trade involving rox, heat and cleveland.
