I was a senior in 2000 that lady didn't teach seniors if she was there, the only other English teacher I remember is Mr. Vasquez. My brother and sister remember Julie Sample though, they graduated in 03.
Didn't it suck that when we went during that time, the state decided that since DP was making so much money, we had to share?!? Thats F'd up.
They are called that because they teach based on the American curriculm (sp is wrong). They follow the min. hours needed in school, and the subjects etc. It's a recognized American Highschool, but in Europe. People from around the world sent their kids to my school. I went because the company paid the $24K. http://www.las.ch/ <<<<<<-------------My school.
Dobie '78. For you youngersters out there, my high school football team may have kicked your father's high school team's ass (or not).
Hell yeah. Dunaway is a great teacher. I only had him for one semester though, then got transfered midyear to Mrs. Wilson for Chemistry. Needless to say, my interest in that subject took a pretty steep dive. My other favorites were Mr. White and Mr. Walthall. Walthall's class was... fun.
Mr. White used to help us on the academic decathlon team along with Mr. Laza until Mr. White retired my senior year. I never had Walthall but had many a friend in his class. Do you remember Cesar Cano?
Yeah, I used to talk to him a lot. Crazy guy. Those yellow shoes he had for a while were awesome. I saw him at the Pasadena Fairmont branch library about a year ago and he said he was going to school to be a chef. Was he serious?
yeah me and him both are going to culinary school. he is going to be a pastry chef, while I plan on just going the chef route. Do you know a John Strader?
Wow. Small world! Nope on Strader. The only other '02 people I knew were Nathan McCrory and Arthur Atkins.
Wow, I didn't know so many of you guys are from the southeast side. All the time I lived in Houston, it felt like everyone lived on the southwest side or north side of town. Nice to see it!
heh...yeah...contrary to what alot of the inner loop and west side thinks......there are actually people that live on the east side of the loop. It has seriously surprised me that so many here are from my area...there seems to be very few that are in my age range tho....Jameson Paulz is the only one here that actually is my age and went to my high school... I wonder if it is a natural side effect of my generation not being particularly internet savvy(as in most of my close friends) or they just arent Rockets fans... anyone else from PHS that hasnt spoken up? Unveil yourselves you lurkers...
No, she had awesome long, red hair. I think she graduated from League City and then attended San Jacinto JC for a couple of years before transfering to UTEP... Cool deal. She was a really good friend of mine back at UTEP and last I had heard of her she was teaching at PHS. She graduated from UTEP around '98 or '99 so I thought she might have been at PHS by 2000, but I guess I might have been wrong...
My mother went to Mt. Carmel. I think she was class of '69, though. Lots of brothers and sisters, though, and they all went there. Know any Maricelli's?
