Sam Mack, the ex-Houston Rocket is the best player on the Miami Heat. He's the sixth man. Seems like Rockets ex-players always turn out to be good. We have good scouts.
I doubt Mack will continue this torrid scoring pace, but it is great to see him doing well. He has been though a lot in his career and it's always nice to see an ex-Rocket doing well somewhere else. (It's painful to watch Maloney, Kenny Smith, Chucky Brown, Horry and others just rot away when not on the Rocks.) Maybe I shouldn't include Horry, but I think he could have been a lot more had we not traded him away. I hope Bullard does a great job on the Hornets this season! He was my favorite Rocket to listen to in interviews, and he almost always had a funny quote in the paper. B
Kenny played in Denver, Detroit and Orlando after leaving the Rockets. And if I'm correct, he played on all three of those teams in the 96-97 season. I think he was waived by all three, but I could be quite wrong about that. B
