I went ahead and reread the article. To give the kid a break, the article sounds a bit tongue in cheek. Bad humor is easy to do, and may have been done in this case. Dave
Well, he admitted to being a Bulls fan, which explains why he would praise Jay Williams and scorn all the other rookies.
Anyone notice that his second paragraph is a sentence fragment? So as I sit here dumbfounded, looking at past NBA Drafts, wondering what some of these teams were thinking.
Hey people, when you follow the link, there is an option to send feedback, just like on this board. Go let em know what you think! Don't need email, just respond to the forum there.
I don't think he was even praising Jay Williams. In fact he blatantly said that the Bulls should have drafted Mike Dunleavy Jr. over Jay Williams. He also made fun of the fact that Williams likes to dribble a lot and misses key free throws. He seems to be all over the map.
uh-huh... we're asking the same thing, especially when it comes to "sports" writers... maybe he should have....
I sent in some feedback. I included Yao's line from last nite as well as the following comments. "Hmm. Now we see why Sam King is not an NBA GM. Yao Ming(see above) and Jay Williams have both been much better than the almost non existent Dunleavy." CK
http://www.indianastatesman.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2002/11/22/3dde40559ad1f check it out again. Good Stuff! They have all the reader feedback at the bottom of the page. Mine is one of them.
Come on guys, don't get so worked up over some dumbass who's writing for a college paper. There are lots of idiots who probably think like this kid and you guys are gonna give yourselves aneurysms if you let every negative article or statement about Ming set you off like this.
