I would hope he could come back for Game 1 of the second round. That would be 4 weeks after he broke his hand and we were told he'd be out a month.
FYI pre-injury he was shooting 25% from 3 and 40% from the FT line. That's worse than Corey Brewer. Maybe it's the rookie wall, but we need a lot more than that vs. SAS.
Would love to see some Dekker if Anderson/Ariza are struggling with their offense. I just have a premonition that he would play well in a Spurs series *shrug*
What is interesting about the Dekker injury, is that even if he never got injured, I don't think he would have saw a minute of action in the OKC series. MDA likes his tight rotation. Those of you who listen to the Dunc'd On Podcast will remember Nate Duncan thinking the Dekker injury was going to be a big blow for the Rockets. I am convinced he watches very little Rockets games. That said, hope Dekker gets back soon to be an option in the next round should the situation arise.
Im all for getting dekker back but i truly believe that there is a higher chance of anderson snapping out of his funk then there is of dekker playing great after injury. Dance with who brung you there. Anderson could be big for us against the spurs i think
I don't know. The way Anderson and Ariza struggled in this series, I think Dekker would've gotten a shot.
I agree. And I'm certainly hoping and expecting Ryno to shoot over 50% in the next series to make up for the last one. If by chance he sucks again, and we lose....his Rocket's career is MOST PROBABLY OVER!
I think he will have a good series. He struggles against bruisers that okc and memphis have. Lamarcus aldridge is as finesse as anderson. I think he will score on pau gasol and lamarcus aldridge.
We are all right there with you lol. I dont think lma and pau can bully anderson the way gibson and adams could so fingers crossed haha
Up to doing some light drills with it now apparently. He's hoping for a 2nd round return, but nothing definite yet. Needed six screws and a plate, I didn't realise it was that bad.
