If Sam really is the great distributor people think he is, surely Anthony Mason would be doing more than he has done. Not to mention, the Bucks really should have a much better record than they do in the pathetic Eastern Conf.
Kidrock, Cassel was never a cancer when he was in Houston. Without him, we probably dont win either championship. If he doesnt hit that shot in NY, we dont win any games in NY and the series is over. Against Orlando, he once again kicked some serious ass!!! Say what u want about any other pg being better than him, but when its crunch time, he delivers. And whats this about him not driving and passing, and just passing on the perimeter. I dont think u have followed his career too closely. In Houston, Kenny Smith was the perimeter shooter and passer, and Cassel was always the one penetrating.
He's a cancer to the organization b/c he keeps making noise about his contract. But he still goes out there and plays hard every game, so he's definitely no cancer to his team.
kid, don't make dumb arguments like they're record should be better. Hell the Rockets record should be better too. Just look at the numbers. For you dissing Cassell on assists, he was #2 behind Jason Kidd in 99-00. *Ranked 2nd in the NBA in assists per game (9.0) and 9th in free-throw percentage (.876) A cancer for the Rockets?? That's championship cancer too. oh.. *Led the Rockets in 1995-96 in free-throw percentage (.825) and in 1994-95 in assists (4.9 apg) And for your dumb Nets argument. Check this one out Marbury boy. *Led the Nets in 1997-98 in assists (8.0 apg, 10th in the NBA) and free-throw percentage (.860, 11th) and ranked 2nd in scoring (19.6 ppg, 16th) And for your dumb, he gets traded alot theory, check out Jason Kidd, Chris Webber and Stephon Marbury. They've been around the block. Oh lets see if ANYONE matches this week.. *Named NBA Player of the Week for the week ending 11/8/99, averaging 29.0 points and 9.0 assists while leading the league with a .694 (34-49 FG) field goal percentage Last one kid, i'm sure you don't remember this part because you thought it was a wierd looking Scottie Brooks.. *back-to-back NBA championship teams in 1994 and 1995
