Salsa- You are making me very happy projecting Johnson as a rocket! I am in Buckeye country and I absolutely love the guy! KJ will never be confused offensively with a great player but he works hard defensively. Also he is quick enough to play the 4 as well. Some of the reports here are alot of teams are projecting him as a 4, until he bulks up more. Again I am very high on him, the best thing I can say about a person is they work hard and KJ has matured so much since his Freeshman year here at OSU.
If Shandon leaves, Joe would be an ideal backup two. I would definitely not take him with out 13th pick(Not our biggest need), but with the 18th/22nd I would definitely take him. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
Salsa- Do you really think Joe Johnson will go top ten? I hope not because I think this guy is the perfect fit for the Rockets. Great shooter, ball-handler, and defense. He could take Shandon's place at both the SF and backing up Mobes. I like him much more than Jefferson, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll fall or we move up. ------------------
Its my opinion that joe will rise very very quickly if he has good workouts. while jefferson is more of a true small forward joe is more versatile. he can play some PG SG and SF. he's alot like jalen rose in some ways. he is super smooth too. he can shoot and is very athletic. i have detroit taking him because they have no1 versatile at all on that team. chucky atkins doesnt cut it as starting PG.. and joe could handle the ball alot and score or do whatever. stackhouse needs some help... i think a guy who could play 3 positions and can score n pass could help him. heck i think even cleveland could take him if they wanted a good scoring option. 6'8 guys w/ handles and that ability dont come along everday. actually i still want jefferson becuz i believe he is better on D and more of a true SF. but joe johnson i htink will rise. ------------------ --TEX
