I just happened to be at Spec's shopping for a holiday party and noticed a stack of cases of Sailing Santa. I asked the beer guy there and he said this is the newest limited release and he's had people calling all day about it.

He cracked open the first case and I took two pints home. Chilling now, will post later about it.

I don't know if there will be a rush on these or not, but he seemed to indicate that there might be. I dunno. This was the Spec's at Louetta and Stuebner Airline.

Would have been cool if they had some of the rarer beers on tap at Monsters of Beer last weekend. Oh well.

Yeah, I think everyplace that is getting it has lots of cases, but that's it. 3,600 total cases apparently.

They mix up their IPA and the Christmas Ale. It's OK. If you like very hoppy beers, you'll like it.

I kind of have to agree. They're solid but I don't feel the need to scavenge half way across town for a 6 pack.

I'm just happy I was able to find a New Belgium La Folie at Spec's today. I've been looking for months in Colorado with no results, but tons of em in Houston

People from Colorado would drink elephant piss in a bottle and call it "beer".
