so it turns out the guy who hooked us up with the cask of christmas ale for the wedding this weekend is also giving us two cases of DR10...
I was able to get another 6'er at Central Market around lunch time. Got pretty lucky as when i got there I was about 40th in line and the delivery arrived right about the same time I did.
Got one of the few at the N. Lamar Central Market in Austin. Went at 9:30 a.m. to RSVP for one and they said they've all been claimed.
I called in about 30 minutes ago. They told me that they are completely out and will not be getting anymore. So anyone that was planning on going, save your time; they are all out. Sad to say the last, I first heard about the divine reserve last year and was looking forward to trying one of the brews this year for the first time. Looks like i'm going to have to wait another year =/
Some of the local pubs should have it on tap. Not sure about Austin, but in Houston, Anvil, Brian O'Neills, and Flying Saucer will have it available at around $6-9 a pint.
specs (ben white/brodie) got 7 cases and sold out in 4 hours. central market had 9 cases and they were gone by the time i got there at 7. didnt try the whip in, but if anywhere in austin still has it they probably will - last year they only allowed 2 bottles per person.
My buddy and I each got a six-pack late last night at the HEB on Highway 6 and Austin Parkway. They didn't have it on display, and we had to ask an employee to look for it.
Missouri City. You should call and ask if they have any in stock. We called all 25 HEB stores in the Houston area last night, and this was the only place that confirmed they had it in stock.
let's hook up, I had never heard of this and this guy at flying saucer last night was telling about it. i'm going back tomorrow
austin peeps... just got back from the whip-in w/ two bottles. like last year, its a 2 bottle limit ($4 each). they got 10 cases of it, but the guy said he wouldnt be surprised if they were out by the end of the night so if you want it you better get down there. its cool that they limit it like this - both places i tried yesterday were out w/in hours b/c they allowed two 6 packs/person. also, if you are hungry they make really kick-ass authentic indian food there - the owners are from bombay or mumbai or whatever its called these days so they know what they are doing. i got this chick-pea, butternut squash and carrot thing that was perfect on a cold day like today.
