Yup symptoms of a young team but they also were tired in that last OT. Really no excuse for that though considering L.A. just got done playing Cleveland yesterday while Sacramento had the day off. Inexperience lost them this game though.
tyreke evans showed flashes of steve francis. And I don't mean it as a complement. Still too young to understand that you don't turn a game into a personal shooting match. Still has all the tools to be a very good player in the future. but ya kings blew it.
Yet again, the Lakers escape a close one. UGH! It's the same damn thing over and over again! Kobe starts hittin' those clutch shots and then starts making his STUPID faces. I feel like yelling.
Fixed it for ya. In both overtimes combined, the Kings outscored the Lakers 7-0 without Evans and were outscored 18-2 with him on the floor. After watching this and the Cavs game, they must conclude good defensive teams will easily lock them up when they try to run everything through Evans. If you guys thought the Kings looked helpless in OT against the Lakers with Evans on the floor, they looked even more inept against the Cavs, who outscored them 13-0 in OT. In that game, the last couple of possessions in regulation and in some of OT Evans tried to take LeBron one-on-one and failed miserably. These games don't matter in the long run except as teaching tools. Westphal gained plenty of material.
