Aaaand we go to overtime, I am NOT impressed with Evans' decision making late, nor his use of the PnR. He's talented, but definitely a rookie.
What was Westphal thinking not taking a time-out? Awful final possession. Reminds me of a Rockets game.
Hopefully Sacramento won't blow any chances to win the game like the way they did against Cleveland the other night before that one went to overtime. Sacramento had the ball for the last possession in regulation, Cleveland ran three guys at Tyreke Evans, trapped him against the sideline and instead of passing to an open guy he fired up some hideous looking shot that would have made you cringe even on a video game.
Whoops too late. Evans is still learning what he is and is not capable of. The Cavs game and that last play should be very instructive.
Donte is looking very good. Moves his feet well. Keeps his arms up. And times his jump nicely with his long arms.
Evans is being benched in OT. Someone pointed out to me that Tyreke can't go left at all, so the Lakers are heavily favoring his right side, forcing Evans to go left every possession. He's been ineffective all game apparently. But still, this Kings team is playing well in OT. Now we have to hear about how the Kings are better without Martin AND Evans.
