I think Chuck could have a roll in Houston in LIMITED spot minutes, but $5.5 million a year for Chuck is INSANE! He's worth the vet min tops, IMO.
I'm betting he ends up in Minnesota. Chuck was awesome with us, but I think a lot of it had to do with how Adelman used him in the high post. He was excellent in that system. That isn't to say he wouldn't still be a fantastic individual and team-defender, but he would be a total liability in the sets we run.
I cant really envision any team having interest in him at that number unless he's packaged with a major asset. It's a shame because he can be such a valuable piece on the right team.
He was replying to me shooting down the idea of Sac trading the newly signed Carl Landry. Pretty sure they aren't trading someone they signed a week ago, no matter how dumb the management is.
