    Latest Report:

The NY Post has an article (RealGM, News) wherein Webber outlines his itnerary for the next little bit, and while it mentions contacting Indiana, Detroit, the Knicks, and Sacramento, the Rockets are conspicuous in their absence...

ok, I tried my own link, and it doesn't work...Here's how I got it...Go to RealGM, and click on their NEWS section, there's a heading about Webber, and teams "lying"..click on it, and down the article the report states that the Rockets were "lying" when they leaked that they were only after re-signing their own guys, and have been doing everything possible to clear room for Webber in the two days since...Sorry about the post, I'm not really skilled with computer/internet stuff...

    lol Joe Fan!

Nike, I think that JAG has you beat on the 'catchy title' scenario considering so many people here post that the Rockets aren't after Webber at all. Hogwash!

Jeff, tell the Rockets secretary source to shove it up her ass! lol!

It's pretty convenient that the Rockets are telling the media they can't make a decision on Mo Taylor because they have to wait for Hakeem to get back into town. Hakeem has made his demands known and we won't meet them unless he chhanges his mind. What we're trying to do is stall our own free agents until Webber makes a decision. I hope we don't wait that long - Webber is not in any hurry. If we wait for him we could loose Moochie, Taylor, Hakeem, and STILL not get Webber.

The Rockets won't wait that long, though. If they follow tradition, they will say - OK, Chris, we've waitied this long and we have to make our own decisoons. Here's our offer and it's good until midnight on X date.

Chris even has an offer from the Spurs, which explains why they released Samaki Walker. I don't think Webber will make up his mind any time soon. He's the big kid on the block right now and he's enjoying the attention.
