No matter how many times the haters say it, it is never going to be true. Head was in the rotation playing a lot of minutes before any injuries.

Still a lot of arguments about the contributions of JVG and Adelman.

Both coach is good and have coached well until now. I noted most of our players love JVG also but there were quite a few who hated him i.e. Nachbar, Francis, Vspan. I also noticed during JVG era, players also play with constant fear and frequently look over to see the coach reaction after mistakes or TO. Hence, the fear made some of the good shooters actually shot poorly when they played for us. In such fear environment, I believed if we had veteran and experienced players, we will excel and do well also.

If we are a team with a lot rookies, under such fear environment, we'll be in trouble.

Sacramento fans are a good group. They remember all the formers players and cheer for them when they make an appearance.

Points that we, even the person you responded to, already know. Thanks

Uh oh, one decent bench player, one guy that has been glued to the bench, and one Euro that the Spurs didn't even want didn't like Van Gundy.

    Rafer Alston 3pt %
    Last year: 35.92%
    This year: 34.83%

    Luther Head 3pt %
    Last year: 43.16%
    This year: 38.55%

    Shane Battier 3pt %
    Last year: 42.31%
    This year: 38.87%

    Mike James 3pt %
    Under Van Gundy: 39.25%
    Under Adelman: 32.43%

    Steve Francis 3pt%
    03-04: 29.20%
    The year: 23.53%

    Tracy McGrady 3pt %
    Last year: 32.45%
    This year: 32.17%

    Steve Novak 3pt %
    Last year: 33.33%
    This year: 46.34%

    Jon Barry 3pt %
    Last year under Adelman: 34.8%
    First year under JVG: 45.1%

Looks like JVG only had this mysterious negative shooting effect on one player. Next time you might want to do a little research before coming up with these theories.

The best part of this is JVG is gone! No more of pounding square pegs in round holes. No more of having players acting like robots. No more games where the opposing teams know what play we're gonna run before we do. No more walking the ball up court. Offensive rebounds, YES! Fastbreaks, Yes! I can't believe any Houston fans still miss JVG.
