I agree, the offensive fouls on Yao were BS. Funny that Brad Miller gets more respect from the refs on the road than Yao at home. I was at the game, and the calls had me so enraged that i was just cussing up a storm. I yelled as loud as I could at Danny Crawford, and then he just proceeded to screw us even more. Francis, please just make a layup, dude. If they foul, they foul, but just concentrate on making the layup. Next week, we can work on something i like to call the "jumpshot".

It's refreshing to know that, if nothing else, at least Kings fans and Rockets fans can stand united in their hatred for Bill Walton...

I have to agree with all of you people. I went to the game and sat at the upper level and to me some calls and non-calls were bad and I thought maybe it's because I couldn't see what really happened from so high up. But then I got home and watched the whole game again which I recorded and I wasn't wrong, there were many mistakes from the refs.

The call that got me mad the most was when they called a technical foul on cato for hanging on the rim and slapping the backboard. Everybody is doing it, I just saw a replay from the cavs game where lebron dunked it and pulled himself up with his chin next to the rim and there was no technical foul there. I thought that was going to boost the rockets play but that call messed everything up.

When did it become legal to put both arms on a man when you are defending him in the post? That used to be a foul & it seems to be the only way people can defend Yao.

I hate this type of statement

HEY . . the runner had a chain on his leg
but it was his fault he lost. . . . he should have overcome the chain

put a 200 lbs weight on Carl Lewis and I could out run him in the 100.

If the refs RAPED us . . .. we got SCREWED

So either. . . THEY DID or WE LOST IT . . .. it cannot be both in my opinion

    bailed out?
    a Call is a CALL . . . .
that is like someone running over you in their car . .and no
one doing anything about it. . . .

Hell you shouldn't sue or anything . .. why should you be BAILED
    out by THE LAW . . .

OK - let's blame the officials for this one:rolleyes:

Rox are well known as league whiners and we won't get any respect from the refs until that changes. I don't blame them for not bailing SF when he goes one on five and just barrels into a scrum of defenders. And Cato showboating; well, don't wake up a sleeping dog.

Game was there for the taking but we panicked and the Kings knew how to close us out. Don't blame the refs; we weren't good enough to close the deal.

    Just shut up and play

...........and while you're at it, quit turning the f****** ball over 24 times - it might help.

Tunrovers killed us. Steve's shooting killed us. Even in the refs were bad, we were leading for most of the game and had the opportunity many times to put the Kings away. We did not, they came back and showed us how to close out a game. For that matter, they showed us how to close out every quarter.

The thing that bothered me were all of the reach ins that went uncalled. That allowed the Kings to swipe and poke at the ball without any fear. Then Cato pokes the ball away from Vlade and the whistle blows immediately. Call it on both sides.

The refs decided to hold onto their whistles, particularly down low all game. All sortsa missed calls on both ends of the game.

Yes, it IS incredible to watch Vlade bear-hug Yao yet hear no whistle blow.

The refs helped Kings to win last night, no question about it. They completely took Yao's game away. They also helped Kings to frustrate SF.

If it were in NY, fans might have chanted "refs stink". You got to express your opinion strongly to let the refs know this kind of officiating is not welcome here.

Didn't that happen in the Rockets/Heat game? I recall hearing the fans chanting after the refs' horrific calls(on both ends of the floor) in the first half.

And in defense of the Houston fans, I heard a lot of booing after non-calls. I just think the refs decided they weren't gonna blow the whistle on anything in the paint(except if it was Brad Miller driving to the hoop).

The booing was not enough, not even close.
also, refs did call fouls in the paint, all in favor of Kings. remember the two offensive fouls called on Yao? remember SF got beat up at mid court and robbed the ball and then Bibby came down and missed a J, in the fight for rebound, Cat got called a foul? Not only we didn't get makeup calls, we also got scr**ed again and again by refs.

The game tempo was played to Sacramento’s favor for practically the entire night and it finally bit the Rockets in the butt in the 4th quarter when they stopped hitting shots they usually don’t make.

I don't see how the refs can be blamed for that. If you try to get into a shootout with the Kings and lose, you have no one to blame but yourself.
